1 Million Scoville Pepper Extract Hot Sauce, 5oz

I have been using this for a over a year now in chili and making things a little hotter than usual.A few of the recipes I have used this in:I made a 3 gallon pot of chili with a dozen or so habaneros and 4 Carolina reapers, added about 10 drops to it and it was very flavorful with a lot of heat to the point where most hot sauce enthusiasts wouldn't eat more than a bite.Chicken brest marinated in 15 drops of this, a quart of chicken broth, pinch of salt, liberal amount of ground black pepper and garlic powder. Served over rice with a butter sauce (Butter, garlic, lemon, and chardonnay). It was extra tasty but had an insane amount of heat to the point where my roommates and I were all outside vomiting and coughing after a single bite.WARNING, THIS IS NOT A JOKE after over a year of use I have only used about a half ounce of this extract. Be mindful and if cooking with it the fumes can cause some eye and nasal discomfort similar to pepper spray.Will be buying again if I ever run out.

Oh my god! This is the most spiciest I ever had! You just need one drop, believe me one drop for the whole pot! This thing is crazy! And I can take spicy! It will last me very very long lol.

I have bought this product several times now and it always comes with a stopper so u can get just a small amount but this time it did not come with a stopper and I didn’t realize this and I dumped a lot of the bottle on my steak is this a mistake or will the 5oz bottle not come with stopper anymore?

I was looking for a flavorless way to add heat to something. This is not it. The drops definitely have a strong flavor.That said, you need to use so little that it's probably not a problem. You can dilute it to the point that the flavor is undetectable, but the spiciness is still there.Seriously, this stuff is hot. Next time I use it I'm going to conservatively estimate how much I need, then divide that by 10 to start.

I purchased this extract because I make a lot of soups and I like heat, but I don't want to dump a whole bottle of hot sauce into my cooking just to get some spice. This solves that problem, and then some. It is HOT. I can take the heat, but it really doesn't take much to go from "wow spicy" to "oh no I can't breathe". Sometimes the vapors really catch me off guard when I hold up a spoon to sample what I'm making. None of that is bad. I can turn up the heat of a dish to 11 without altering the flavor, which is perfect.The only downside is it doesn't come with a dropper. Not only does that make it hard to portion it correctly, which is quite tricky free-pouring it from the bottle, but also it ends up dribbling on itself and making a mess that gets all over the bottle and your hands. Trust me, you do NOT want this stuff on your hands. You will 100% rub your eyes later and it will be apparent very quickly why keeping this stuff away from your fingers is in your best interest.Aside from the lack of dropper, this is awesome. I will definitely purchase more in the future.

This is hellfire in a bottle and you will love it. Lots of heat, but a very mild flavor, only a little noticeable in otherwise bland foods. Not something that will come through in a pot of chili, but I can taste it in a thin soup. I find the flavor similar to green bell peppers, crisp/earthy and slightly bitter, no sweetness. 1 mil SHU is the perfect amount of heat in my opinion, any hotter and one drop makes too much difference to tailor it perfectly.A 5oz bottle lasts many months if you put it on everything like I do, probably years if you use it sporadically. I recommend removing the clear plastic cap and/or just pouring some into a bottle with a dropper, otherwise it'll end up dripping down the sides and get all over your hands. And no matter how well you've washed them, the next time you rub your eye or go to the bathroom, you'll find it wasn't well enough.Bought this stuff from another seller for almost twice as much, and it arrived leaking everywhere. This one came perfectly sealed, well packaged, and shipping time was great. I'll be back! ...in nine months or so.
