BLOWN away with these Nail Clippers!
I can't tell you how many nail clippers I have purchased and been disappointed with! With two Great Danes, nail clippers are a very difficult purchase. SO much so I actually resorted to buying a grinder at Home Depot to be able to do their nails! But the Mighty Paw Dog Nail Clippers changed all that! LOVE the feel of the clippers and the absolute ease of cutting heavy-duty nails! It's apparent that a lot of thought went into the design of these clippers for both dog owners and dogs!Thank you from me, Bella and Dublin!

Wonderful, easy to use, sharp, functional nail clippers - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I must say I’m impressed. I’ve been using the same brand of clippers from THE smart pet store we all know for years and these blow them out of the water. They operate smoothly, are VERY sharp so they cut through the nails like butter, the lock works flawlessly and I really appreciate the little nail file that locks into the bottom. It works well to smooth the edges after cutting them. My Frenchie seemed more at ease since these didn’t “crush” his nail as they cut them. I love the bright green color as well. Makes them very easy to spot in the drawer! Four paws up along with my two thumbs up!I highly recommend these if you’re in the market for new clippers.**I was provided a pair of these clippers at no charge for my honest feedback

Best Design Yet!
Like 99.9% of dog owners, I absolutely hate cutting the nails. I'm petrified of cutting too much and injuring my dog. I don't want to deal with the bleeding or cause him pain. Thank goodness for these nail clippers. The safety guard keeps me from cutting too deeply, and the best thing about the design is the longer hand grips. I have another brand of nail clippers with a safety guard but it has short hand grips so the whole process of cutting the nails is tedious and awkward. These hand grips allow me to securely and swiftly cut the nail without trauma to my dog (physically) or to me (emotionally). And the icing on the cake of the design is the nail file enclosed within the hand grip. That is genius and quickly allowed me to smooth the edge. I love this Mighty Paw design!

The Tool You Need to Quickly and Safely Trim Your Dog's Nails!
If you have a dog that doesn't like getting her nails trimmed, you definitely need a tool that's going to get the job done safely AND quickly. This handy, well-made nail clipper fits the bill! Our springer hates getting her nails trimmed, so I can't wait to try out our new clipper. It will be great to use between grooming visits as her nails grow very fast. Thank you, Mighty Paw!

Not great for the Dane, great for the Terrier.
These work great for the terrier. She wants her clipping done quickly so she can escape the torment of the pedicure. The Great Dane on the other hand is a different story. These are hard on her nails and require dressing up with a Dremel, so we just do the Dane all Dremel. She prefers it that way. I think she likes how long the Dremel takes. Because when you have only shadowed the family for 6.5 of the 7 hours you have been awake, a toenail dremeling is good for a solid 25 minutes of undivided attention. When you add that to the other 20 hours of daily attention, that there is a win... Great Dane motto: Never sleep alone when there is a human you can sleep on.

Left my dog jagged, choppy nails. Not suitable for big dogs.
These clippers are NOT good quality! My dog gets regular trims and these clippers are like chewing your nails instead of a manicure. The included file is a good idea but it's insufficient for the job.I absolutely would not recommend these to others, get the red-handled Millers Forge nail clippers.I received these for free in exchange for my review.

I like these better than my old clippers.
The guard to help prevent trimming the nail too short is at a much better angle than my old clippers and is more stable. Also my old clipper had a mechanism to keep the blades closed when not in use, however, it kept engaging on its own while I was trying to actively trim my Chiweenie's nails - very annoying for both me and the dog. The mechanism on this clipper is much better designed and does not get in the way. It is handy to have the file right in the handle. I had never thought to use a file before and I like rounding out the sharp edges of the nails. The handles are comfortable and the blades are very sharp. I've only just used it once so far, but it seems sturdy and well made. I expect to use these for many years.

Comfortable grip and easy to use
I have a CKCS who absolutely hates having his nails clipped, so anything that decreases clipping time is a plus. Prior to buying these, I was using a smaller pair of clippers that were scissor-handled and not comfortable to grip, so clipping took a while. My previous clippers also declined in clipping quality as my puppy's nails grew longer. These clippers are just the right size and are much more comfortable to grip while keeping a hold on a squirmy puppy. The sharp edges make cutting super quick and do a great job, and I am able to use the conveniently-placed file to smooth the edges of the nail if they are rough. My only complaint is that the safety guard gets in the way since my dog is fairly small; if I clipped using the guard, I would definitely hit his quick, so I wish there was a way to remove it. Overall, however, I am pleased with this product and we will be using it for many months to come.
