Good goal for money
There are really only two good portable goals on the markey. This goal for the money, is a good deal. The only other goal out there is the Bownet and it's $270, so for $80, you could buy 3 of these goals for 1 of the Bowent. But to compare, the PowerNet is pretty equal with set up. It does sag more in the middle. If you go this route, here is my advice: secure the black connectors to the net so you don't lose them. Not sure why they aren't permanently attached, without them the whole goal is useless, so secure them well. Also there are black connectors at the bottom of the sidepoles. I lost one on the first day of set up but luckily, I found it. Without it the poles are not tight in the holder. It's as if they realized they made a mistake and added this little connector to help, but they are SO easily lost. Though, without them at least the goal still works. And last, the bag is okay. I can never get the goal back in fully, but at least it holds it enough for me to carry it. In comparison the Bownet case is super sturdy with wheels, it's similar to a suitcase. So, you get what you pay for, but for less than 1/3 of the price, this is a nice goal with very well made net. Also, when folding, manipulate the goal to release the weight off the arm you are you trying to retract and wiggle. The pins are not easy to push in, but this helps tremendously. I thought one was broke for a long time until I found this trick.

Little bit flimsy, but understandable
I literally just put this together with my son in our living room and here are my first impressions. First issue is that I wish they made the bag 2 inches longer. The net barely fits and I can see the bag ripping in the future. Everything locks into place so I didn't have the issues of some other reviews. The top of the net does sag quite a bit and the plastic side bars bow out as well. If you are looking to crank 100mph shots on this net, think again. It is a "quick net" and made for drills, quick practices or just casual shooting around. My son has not used this in a practice yet so not sure about durability, but it goes together in less than 5 minutes once you figure it out. For the money, I'm "assuming" it's pretty good and definitely portable. Will fit in any trunk or back seat. Actual net seams to by high quality netting as well.

Great for the price
I don't typically write reviews but after reading these, I had to set the record straight. This design is exactly the same as all the other ones, the cheap and expensive. This goal is perfect for U12 type players shooting a regular lacrosse ball or for older players with a tennis ball. I dont see this goal holding up to HS or college players ripping shots. It works perfect for both my U12 kids. For those who had issues with the bolts on the hinge, they clearly tried collapsing it with force while not pushing the buttons to unlock it. The goal is a little shorter hight wise due to the top part of the net not having a cross bar to keep it straight but that is the point of this goal, portable and light The bottom bars are telescopic so if you read the instructions they extend and click once the hit 6feet. 5 stars for what it is intended for... inexpensive, portable, easy up and down, good design, and for U14 players

4’x4’ lacrosse power net
4’x4’ works well for my 7 year old, does not handle people who can shoot harder, the part that can’t hold up is the elastic bands that are for helping keep the net open and the stakes in the ground. I have owned it for 8 days and I have already bought and replaced the elastic bands and bought different stakes for the ground. The actual Net and stick frame is holding up. The net is a little tight so when you shoot hard on it it comes back or rolls out. I plan on upgrading from here but good start or intro for my son. We have enjoyed playing and shooting other then the repairs made.

Not the best
Overall, I am not all that happy with the purchase. One of the first things you’ll notice is that the storage bag has precisely zero give to it, so it’s almost impossible to pack the goal away again after you’ve used it. The goal goes together pretty easily, but there is no lock on the back of the goal- meaning that you just have to sort of guess how wide to open it. After just two light practices, the hinges on the back started to bend and warp, and I am concerned that the goal won’t last the season.

Locking mechanism does not lock the goal open, so the goal does not stay open to use
I loved how compact this goal is, but for some reason after the first day of setting up the goal the locking mechanism ball looks to be too short and does not catch at all. I have tried everything, but unless locking mechanism is changed out for a longer version, so the ball that pops up actually locks in the locking hole. Hopefully they do something g to fix this, but as is I would not buy this again. The one I have is brand new and never used, except to setup.

Great for on the fly lacrosse
Just bought this lacrosse net off of amazon and I just have to say that it is very underrated here. I set it up for an on-the-fly workout with the high school team I coach, and I was pleasantly surprised with the product. This goal is not meant for high volume shooting drills but is excellent for everything else. I was able to set the net up for the first time within 5 minutes and now can do it effortlessly. The travel case that comes with it is a little tight but still fits everything inside.

The quality and price point in my opinion are very good and comparable to the more expensive
I have a couple of nets by this company. The quality and price point in my opinion are very good and comparable to the more expensive, more widely known competitor. This particular unit was slightly damaged upon delivery. I could tell the box had been dropped or hit on one end because it was crushed. It happened to be the back end of the net at the hinge part, which was slightly bent causing the push/snap pin to break. I have always been a contractor and have plenty of tools and materials, so I simply drilled it out and put a large hitch pin in its place and it works well. However, if you are not handy, I presume returning it would not be an issue. This does not take away from review of the product as I do not feel it is a manufacturer defect. These are very easy to set up and come with a nice storage bag for winter storage. I don't usually give 5 stars on anything, but I do highly recommend these. They are great for your yards, easy to store because they break down so easily.
