Variety in purchases and reading material
Good because these magazines have not been in stores for a long time. I read different kinds US BET Hairstyle and People in both languages. It's good to have this mag. As well as Glamour in Spanish. I use to buy a variety in front of Copley station and have not been able to purchase. I am glad to see this item. Recently see one in store. I use to go also to markets with my mother and there were a variety of magazines now there is much less for hispanic and black community. I don't even see the BET magazine in stores as well.

A Good Investment
As someone who is trying to learn Spanish, I am always looking for some good materials to practice with. This is perfect! They have very interesting articles (I think it is less 'fluffy' than the English version) and everything is in Spanish! They focus on Hispanic celebrities (from the U.S. and from other countries) and they focus more on family than beauty. They also review books, movies and television, which I really enjoy reading. One major difference between this and the English version is that People en Español only comes out once a month, whereas the English version comes out every week. Actually, there are only 11 issues per year, because they always combine December and January. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait to improve my Spanish!

Great for the Spanish classroom!
I am a Spanish teacher and keep this subscription so my students can read in the classroom when they finish work early. I teach low levels (1-3) so they tend to ignore the articles but love to look at the fashion (especially once they have learned the clothing vocabulary) and advertisements. It also exposes them to "People" that are Latino and not American. I'm glad it is only once a month because I don't need a new one every week. But it is great for me to keep up with my own reading and for my students as well! So much cheaper than the American People but contains a lot of the same type of content!! Highly recommend!

DENIED CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTION IN LIGHT OF SUBSCRIBER'S PASSING
I attempted to cancel a subscription gifted to my mother after her passing. I was unpleasantly surprised to receive an email from Meredith from Amazon stating my cancellation request has been denied. I would believe cancellation requests due to a subscriber's passing would clearly be an exception to this "rule". The facts that Amazon/People Magazine continues to send magazines to my deceased mother for the purpose of profit is appalling. Additionally, continuously receiving the magazines gifted to her and having to trash them month after month are a painful reminder of her passing. I have been a prime amazon member for years as well as a People Magazine subscriber. I have always raved about your services. However, this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I felt compelled to leave a review on your site bringing your practices and insensitivity to light to other amazon customers and subscribers.

A gem in the dessert
Every issue is thinner and full of advertisements. So hard to find a paper magazine in Spanish these days.

Helps me practice my Spanish
I actually subscribe to this for my waiting room, as I have a lot of Spanish speaking clients. Truthfully, though, I sit down with most of the copies, as it helps me practice my Spanish. I rarely know who they're talking about, but I can usually follow along with the story line. Heck, I even find the ads helpful. When you're learning a new language, you draw upon whatever resource you can find. For me, this magazine helps a lot. Oh, and the clients do like it.

Love magazine to help improve my Spanish reading skills
Purchased this subscription to help with my Spanish. Pictures, articles, etc. all good. Learned about celebrities I never heard of before which was quite interesting. Reasonable rates. Unfortunately, time did not permit me to read as often as I would have liked so I canceled my subscription. If I had more time, I would get new subscription because my Spanish skills still need polished.

No es en español
La pedí para mi mamá, que vive en EU y no habla inglés, porque decía en español. Las primeras 3 las enviaron en español pero ahora las envían en inglés. No lo recomiendo.
