Protects my investment
It looked flimsy and sheer when I first got it opened up, but as I put it over the AC unit it filled in very well and fit well. Has design that will not allow the AC to be damaged should I forget to take it off. Protected and convenient. I had to modify due to the anchor to my house being in a position that did not fit the cover, but that was trivial.

Works very well.
Both heat and cold just when you need it. Quiet, sturdy, nice looking, both the outside part and in your home. Make sure you clean the filter, just wash with a little water and Dawn dish soap,it comes out super easy. Also behind the filter, you will see the plastic fan blades. All of this is very easy. The controls are easy to work. We had a man help us with the installation. It takes 2 people to install it.You will be very happy. So happy we we're that we bought a second one.

Very flimsy
Not much protection at all.

A/C cover NOT as great as expected
Cover fits as per accurate dimensions described However; only covers one side of A/C unit back is paper-thin see thru mesh. Front flap is NOT secure and flaps in wind (should have had velcro installed sewn in). entire cover is "Only" Secured with ONE piece of short lace/string that is almost too short. Would have returned although this is better than noting for the intense AZ Sunshine. Again very , very flimsy like a vail material , certainly will only last maybe 9 months at most.

A cover without blocking the airway
Works fine as I expected. Provide some protection and not blocking the airway of my air pump unit. The problem is only one pair of tie keeping the cover in place. Would worry a strong wind blow the cover away someday.(2 years update)It’s nice my cover still there. However, due to the wind, the fabric flapping and tearing itself as shown in the photo. May need something tie it in place to avoid the damage.

This Works for My Needs
Last year I pained the outside mini split Gree units on the south side of my home, but the sun oxidized the paint in less than one year's time. At some point I'll have plantings creating some shade, as well but these covers are perfect for deflecting sunlight and and I notice rain pools and runs off as well. It's the sun protection that is most important for my needs. I have a bungee stap around the base to help hold it snuggly. I'd plan to have similar. Thanks. I'm happy with the product.

Feels like a thin water repellent mattress cover for ductless AC external fan unit
Need to prepare New England winter. Decided to order a cover for the ductless AC external fan unit. It was the right size, but is highly doubtful to provide much protections... It is very thin fabric with mesh (only front side is made of water repellent fabric, and others are just fine mesh) - feels like a thin water repellent mattress cover. It might provide protection from leaves or pine resin, but not from freezing rain/snow/ice. This might be useful in somewhere with mild weather. It is very easy to install, but seems not installed securely (there is one corner with two elastic bands which need to be tied). The front opening is a good feature, but it does not close (just extra layer to cover its base mesh - maybe the closure is not needed since this is for venting hot air). I used bungee cords to strap these all together for winter hibernation. During the summer, I might just take bungee cords out and let the unit run - vent cover might be flappong like a whoopie cushion.
