Perfect for who I bought it for!

This book was a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day for my wife. She read it to our daughter that night and continues to read it to her. They both love it and it is something they will use for years to come. The illustrations were beautiful and the story as well. Highly recommend.

Melissa Guion not only writes cute books but she participates in the Skype An Author Network program and visits schools across the country via Skype! She visited my Head Start classroom in Indiana and read to us, drew to us, and talked to us for almost a half an hour. The kids loved it and talk about it to this day. Buying this book supports an extraordinary children's author.

I bought this for my 6 month old nephew. I previewed and thought it seemed like an engaging book for a baby and fun enough for his mom to read. She said he was interested and she can see it becoming a favorite. It's uses a familiar, though timeless, theme in a fresh way.

Wonderful message to mothers - you will always be needed, even when your babies learn to do everything for themselves.

Easy to grasp for it's audience. The little boy I gave it to wants to have it read to him all the time which I think is a perfect recommendation. He is a bright little boy and has not taken to all books this way.

Really cute story, I just wish somehow we see the dad in the story. Bought it to my 2 years old for mother's day. One of his favorites stories
