Had a system with this monitor and had to have another just like it. It's easy on my eyes.
I already had a Dell E2414H monitor that came as part of a system package but had to have another. This one is sharp, easy on the eyes and the fact it has no hdmi input was handled with an hdmi to dvi cable. I've been using the RGB input on the first monitor (which looks great) knowing some day I'd add a second monitor and it might have hdmi but I liked this monitor so much I bought another. This Dell E2414HM monitor is a twin to my original except the cable with it is a dsub not DVI. I run these monitors at 1600x900 resolution because I needed a lower res big screen but everything still looks sharp.

Pretty Good Monitor
I have had this monitor for about a little over 2 months now and it works well. It's very light weight (much lighter than the one it replaced) and has a good screen size. Only down-side was that I couldn't get the HDMI to DVI cable to work with it. Fortunately, I had another VGA cable and it worked fine.

it's okay
size is great, but image quality is not great. a slight flicker is always visible, making the image not appear as crisp/clean as I expected. also already have one (?) blown pixel so there is a permanent red dot in the middle of the monitor regardless of the app in use.UPDATE: after only a few months of use, image started getting very blurry and words on the screen (when using MS Word) had a "shadow." I presume this was a function of buying this as a refurbished model.

Good Tight-Budget Monitor
Nice bargain monitor for the price. Good specs. - but, wish it had an HDMI connection - or sound - or a USB hub - or something...

Great size, no HDMI
Great size. This unit had DVI and VGA connections. No HDMI. If I had realized that, I wouldn't have ordered it. I had to buy an HDMI to DVI converter.

Good business monitor
Good business monitor. Nothing super special but does a good job for a business class montor.

Best Monitor ever
This is the best Monitor I have had in my many years of computing experience. Dell is a great company, and it's just what I thought it would be when I ordered it. Thank you, Dell.
