I've been searching for a seed-starting tray that is 1) self-contained, 2) easy to use, 3) will last more than a season or two, and 3) doesn't cost an arm and a leg. These are filling the bill! They are still thin plastic, but better than the big, floppy 72-cell trays I've gotten, and they are indeed self-contained, since they have a tray so water doesn't drip all over, a clear top with vents, and even labels. The lid is thin enough that when the spinner to regulate humidity is pressed into place, you have to use 2 hands, one on the bottom to support the lid as the little prong is stabbed into the top. Works like a charm, though it's good to make sure you will really use it, because once the prong is pushed through, it's not coming out again. They have a nice taper, so that the cells can be easily removed once the plant's roots fill the space. Some might quibble that these aren't that big. That's true, but I'm the sort who'd rather re-pot viable seeds that grow, rather than waste huge amounts of seed-starting mix, space, and time on big cells that come up empty. And the truth is that 12 is plenty enough for most plants, with the space I have.

My friend bought these and I loved the sturdiness of them so I picked some up for myself. Moisture retention is perfect. Super easy to put together and add soil yo. They are not flimsy and are pretty thick, not like the cheap ones you get to start your seeds. They are small so you will have to pot up as soon as your plants get bigger. Im not sure about the growth rate yet but I’m sure the plants will grow just fine.

These seed starter trays are a good value for the price and work well for starting seedlings. They’re easy to use and did what I needed them to do without issues. I would purchase these again and would recommend them for anyone looking for an affordable seed starting option.

They're plastic, but relatively sturdy. The included humidity adjustment keeps the right amount of moisture in. They're green, but work with any plant variety. Lightweight plastic.

I was trying to grow daikon and I had planted all the seeds in this box with soil. They came out really nice until I had to transplant the sprouts into my garden. Well, I wish this was in a bio degradable box but since it isn’t, the roots were a mess when I tried to take them out of the box to plant in the garden soil. I’ll keep the black box and the lid but I’ll just put peat pots in the black box instead of the plastic. The lid was very hard to close. Made a spill several times.

Use these to help me start my veggies indoor, minus the plastic individual tray. I prefer to use compostable, plant directly into the ground, trays instead. But having the actual container to keep them moist with humidity is a must. Love that I can put these on a mat warmer and under a grow light without any issues.

I purchased these to get my seeds going. I love how they're small enough to set under grow lights or on a window sill. It only took about a week before mine were popping up.

Many seed trays are flimsy and short-lived. These are far more durable - planning to get some more

ممتازة لانبات البذور في بيئة رطبة لأنها مزودة بغطاء يحبس الرطوبة، وبعد ان تنبت تنقل الى اصص كبيرة وتخرج الى الهواء الطلق. الاوعية قوية ومحكمة الصنع وكثيرة ولكن الغطاء لا يحكم الاغلاق. بعد ان نقلت الشتلات الصغيرة غسلت الاوعية وجففتها وحفظتها للاستخدام في الموسم القادم ان شاءالله.

They work great. I love the fact they are small. They don’t take up much room. And you don’t need a whole big tray for just a few , they save space.

I love that these are reusable! I love the time you buy them and they're so flimsy they're only good for one or two uses, but these ones are good and should last a long time
