Great for "salon nails"
I prefer to keep my nails natural without the polish and salon fuss. However, my sister loves doing her nails and liberated this from me. She loves it and says it does a great job keeping her nails looking nice now that she doesn't want to go to the salon. Hopefully it will save her some money in the future, too, as she gets better and better at doing them herself.

Not sturdy or reliable
Attachment keeps breaking off inside tool. This is the second one we bought and after awhile, the attachment breaks off inside of the tool.

You get what you pay for
Definitely get what you pay for. Drill is not powerful enough to take off gel Polish. Let alone grind a thick nail.

Must purchase - easy to use
Easy to use, no battery needed, USB charged. If your a beginner this tool makes it easy to file and drill your natural nail, gel nail and acrylic nails. Theres different styles, shapes and sizes for you desire nail shape or texture. The drill is super lightweight and the perfect size to travel and you can even throw it in your purse. It did not take as long as I taught it would when using it. Theres also different speed when using the machine which I appreciated because my nails are super sensitive so I like the fact that I can choose the speed that fits me

Effective in reducing thick toenails; helps us tend to our finger- and toe-nails.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This electric nail drill kit works well for our family's needs. The nail drill is lightweight. The 12 drill bits give us more than enough options to choose from when deciding how to best work on our nails. It takes a little bit of force to get the drill bits into the nail drill; but, once properly inserted, the drill bits do not come out when in use.We love the numerous sanding bands that are included - it'll last us a while. I frequently use the sanding band in conjunction with the drill bit for "polish thick nail" - this drill bit is labeled #6 in the user manual. It works great in reducing the thickness of our fungus toenails; for this purpose, I find that the drill works best on highest speed.I and other family members really like the ability to gradually increase / decrease the speed at which the bits rotate. Some of us have thin nails, so a slower speed ensures that there's not too much pressure on the nail itself.Lastly, I find it odd that the direction control switch - on the USB charging cable - has an "L" and an "R". I do not know what the "L" stands for. When this direction control switch is in the middle, it's in the Off position. When the switch is moved to one end, that would be the Reverse direction. When the switch is moved to the other end, that would be the Forward direction.Note: no adapter in included. I had to provide my own adapter in order to plug this USB charging cable into the outlet.Overall, this is a versatile nail drill kit that helps us work on our fingernails and toenails.
