Works great. No other store had them, so I ordered it. Perfect.

While I'm more of a handyman by trade and needed this for field-work, out of the package it's proving not worth the $13. The number of flints and the idea of a rotatable head seemed useful. Trying to spark is very inconsistent with a handle that requires exact pressure to not bend it out of alignment and I can only get a decent spark when using two hands to hold the head and handle in alignment.The design is too bendable and unreliable so at this point I'd recommend getting something with an actual spring design or a welding supply store.

This is a good, sturdy tool that works every time. It is made of heavier material than most strikers, and it comes with three flints set in a triangular metal holder, so you can switch them when one begins to wear out. It also comes with four extra sets of 3 flints, so I don't anticipate needing replacements for some time. I got it to light my kitchen stove, which has a temperamental pilot light, and it works well, giving a strong spark with every stroke. I'll probably end up using it in my studio as well, because, as I said, it is a sturdy tool.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have recommend it to friends and fellow employees.

I do not have time to go driving around for a nice torch striker like the one offered my Ally. I've been using this type for years. Imagine my delight to discover exactly the right stricker at Amazon. Instead of sitting in traffic for half a day wasting valuable work time, I get to stand over my torch and be productive all because of the confluence between Ally and Amazon. Definitely a 5-star experience. Nice work guys and nice striker too.

Squeezed it a few times. The metal bent and would not align. Really disappointed, nothing like the one i lost. I replaced the flint and it wouldn't spar. will not be buying again
