LOUD and Non-Existent Support
DO NOT BUY. Not only is the unit extremely loud, it isn't even a constant white noise. The fan constantly spools up and down. Everyday. On a two minute cycle. In perpetuity. To make matters worse the customer support team will contact you immediately to give you a false sense of security that they will solve your problem. But they never follow through. They will ignore you until you ask for an update, then the customer service team will CC you on an email asking for the tech team to help. But after that, crickets until you email them back. We're talking more than a month goes by with no contact from the manufacturer. Basically promising to take care of their customer until you aren't able to return the product to the retailer.edit: Over a year has passed and out of the blue their e-commerce director contacted me. He explained that he was brought in sometime after this incident to develop the company's e-commerce side of business. He took time out of his day to meet with me over Zoom to understand in full what had transpired and offered to refund the purchase. I was impressed, and I hope that future customers see improved customer service from this company.

Noisy
Noisy noisy noisy. Fan runs loudly on and off fast and slow all the time. I relocated it to a closet, but it’s still annoying, and now too far away for the usb cable to monitor it. Speaking of monitoring it, the software is hard to find online and works poorly. I’m debating returning it based on the excess noise.

Interface is not intuative and too complicated
I've been in IT for a very long time. This is the first UPS that I've set up that wasn't intuitive to configure. Terminology is different than anything else I've used. The double conversion is what I was after so it worked well with generator power during an outage. Not sure I'll continue with this brand.

Best UPS but loud for home use
Awesome features and performance, pricey. Fan is way too loud for home use, replaced with 80mm standard PWM fan, this technically derates the product but I will never push it near its max ambient working temp nor does it need to compete for airflow with high static pressure.

Fan control and efficiency problems
This unit does not achieve rated efficiency per its efficiency load chart. I am seeing significantly lower efficiency at the lower end, the unit reports 85% efficient but I don't think this is actually calculated, I think it's just a lookup table.I've had my unit replaced once for fan problems, the fan would randomly surge and slow down. The replacement unit had different fan problems than the first and was only two months old (manufacture date) compared to my prior 2019 model. The replacement units fan runs on high for 120 seconds, then low for 12 seconds, and it repeats this all day. Examining the input and output real power, I see that the unit is consuming about 30 watts while carrying a 110W load, but I can see the fan demands 5 watts more when it ramps to maximum. This is absurdly noisy and annoying even in a closed wiring closet. This is also causing the unit to accumulate dust. It also wastes energy and fan life, no reason to throw 5-7 watts of fan power at a 30 watt load. Tech support is terrible, very disorganized and unhelpful. After troubleshooting my unit poorly for two weeks, they shipped a 50lb replacement overnight - ouch.
