Expensive
Used half of this for one recipe just coating chicken fingers. May just try almond flour next time because of the cost.

I like better than Bob's Red Mill
Finer than Bob's Red Mill, the brand of almond flour I have always used before now, just because Bob's has been carried at the stores I frequent. I will order this from now on. I am celiac and try to eat lower carb too. I used this to make a very good pie crust for Thanksgiving.

Walter Mitty dreams come true!
The media could not be loaded. I made the iconic Clementine cake (well I used cuties lol) from the movie secret life of Walter Mitty with this inexpensive almond stuff (I didn’t need almond flour because it was too powdery but this was the perfect texture and way cheaper here on Amazon than the stuff in stores!!) sure it’s a smaller bag but it had more than I needed (over 2 1/2 cups). If you haven’t seen the secret life of Walter Mitty yet, it will feed your wonderlust and some of the cinematography is breath taking!!

Great coating for chicken!
I really like the flavor this gives baked chicken. It's a great substitute to seasoned breadcrumbs.I found a recipe via The Beginner Dash cookbook for simple almond chicken that does not require eggs. The almond meal made the chicken extra moist and delicious.

It’s Good
There are several low carb & keto recipesThat call for almond meal as a flour replacement for baking & cooking. I’ve used this and it does work; though I do not think backing & cooking w/almond flour is as good as four. It does taste good enough and certainly helps replace many of the emptier carbs found in bleached flours. The price was as good or better than a grocery store. I’d certainly buy this again to use as a flour substitute for baking & cooking.
