And in addition serve for all kinds of other low to medium heat pan activity in the kitchen. I tried them all. Swiss made, USA made (which I think is often a lie), French made, all in the realm of $150+ per pan. Often they didn’t get the most basic thing right: a truly flat bottom. They would rock on the stove. Many (the high tec ceramic ones) simply didn’t have the necessary slip and even out of the box were not making perfect egg. The teflon ones usually would scratch super easily, scratches appearing just from the salt drizzled into the pan! Or if someone would forget the pan and the pan would reach high heat for just 1 minute they would loose most of their non-stick property. I tell you it was a real hassle to try pans. But I found one! This one is it! Great non-stick out of the box. Able to take light scratching abuse without showing any sign of scratches. Withstood so far 3 events of incorrect operation at high heat. It’s dead flat, no rocking on the stove. I am making great eggs with this pan now for over 2!! Years and it’s still perfect!
