I was in shock over the negative comment on this book. I decided to purchase it anyway, because I absolutely loved Dayna’s first book. It is worthy of a stellar five stars, in my honest opinion. It is beautifully written, as Dayna only writes from the heart and her primal love for her children floods the book. I love that she touches specifically on her readers/followers most asked questions through her book, and she offers such solid, loving reassurance over common radical unschooling concerns. She reminds me again that my fierce love for my children and our sacred connection reigns. Connection to our children is the very foundation in which they navigate this world. Much love to the author and her beautiful children. Thank you for offering yet another refreshing perspective on parenting and one that is world-changingly applicable to us all.

Why should we be schooled in the same cookie cutter way? It's boring. Sitting in a desk all day while some "all knowing" authority fills our heads with knowledge or should I say a specific agenda. In the words of Roslyn Ross:"I don't think it's by chance that we benevolently dictate to our children and then our government benevolently dictates to us."

I'm already an unschooler and peaceful parent but I still found my heart lifted as I read. I follow Dayna on Facebook and read everything I can along this path but this book is going to be my go to that I will probably re-read over and over. It's uncomplicated to read and relatable. Even if you have no interest in this way of parenting it will make you think.

I love the way this book makes unschooling feel more doable and gives you real time solutions to the challenges that come up.

I have highlights on every page. I am in love with the way everything is worded and described. I love how simplified it is as well. Not a complicated method to follow or any long winded definitions. Just short, easy to read, real life stories that can truly change your perspective. I am so happy for her family.

I bought it in Kindle, some months ago. But I got the paperback now because I just had to hug it! This is the book that I would give to my mum if I had a time machine! I feel very blessed to have it, when my kids are still little.
