This series has left me wanting more
I loved its pacing; fast and thrilling. I loved the action-packed scenarios. As a matter of fact, I finished the whole series in one day. It's not just a spark but more like a soul-devouring wildfire. And I'm just so glad and so thankful that no character I favored is dead. Or maybe I'm just used to unnecessary character deaths (i.e. killing off a favorite just for the sake of the tragic element in the story.) But then again, I believe the characters when they say that death isn't the worst that could happen.Another I love (so much) is the heroine's transition. Honestly, I wasn't bothered if she went from guilty bloodhunter to a killing machine vampire. To me it wasn't much of being guilty to being totally cold as it was being inhibited to much less inhibited. Let's face it, she's a hunter so she's going to end up killing no matter what. At least, with her rifter blood, she can grasp more of what her guts and instincts are telling her; add in the mix her vampire blood and she trusted herself more to protect her loved ones. Side note: how tragic and ironic though that when she became what she hated the most, she understood life more. So back to my review, amazing how hate can easily blind you of the bigger picture.I waa mostly relieved when her men stopped pytting their heads inside their dumb butts and moved on from the heroine's 'transition'. Not that I could flaw them of that. I mean, not everyone could be as amazing as Alejandro /shrugsI had to not give the fifth star in my review because I was still feeling like the series just couldn't b finished already. There were some few questions and confusing points that were ledt unanswered. And honestly, it left me so blood thirsty and still so vengeful as if something was left unbalanced and unjust. The enemies from book 1 - 4 had all gotten pretty easy to me. And up to now, I still don't see how the elders of the vampire council or the king of supernaturals were relevant. In my eyes they were pretty useless /sorrynotsorryPS humans suck the most. End of story

Great series!
I continue to be astounded by Cane's use of words. She doesn't waste them and you feel every single emotion , everything!

Heartbroken
This was a tough book in a lot of ways. It has somewhat of an HEA but with more sadness than I like in a story conclusion. I really didn't like how the relationship with Rhys was portrayed at the end. It felt like Trinity lost too much for a true HEA. I enjoyed watching Trinity overcome certain characters and obstacles but it was all pretty emotional and I just felt down when it was all over. There is some really good writing with thus series but if you want a comfortable conclusion for your heroes, you may not get that with this series.

OMG
OMG, I've had the pleasure of reading ALL of the books Laken Cane has written. This final book was great, and many doors were left open for these characters to continue on, but only Her Wickedness will decide the path for these characters. Like all of the books Laken has written of strong female characters this series was no different. Trin fights for herself, her men, and her town, Through her own challenges and those around her. You never see the path the characters will take, and you always love the surprises, and paths they do take. The rollercoaster is extreme, from high to low, from joy to tears, hate and love, you get them all. I'm truly sad that this is the end, but you never know what Laken has up her sleeve for any of her characters, and where they will pop up. I truly hope she isn't done with any of these characters!!!!

Sad to see Trinity go.....or is she....
Well, I was a little depressed reading this final installment of this series because it was the last one. However, one thing I have come to expect from this author is to expect the unexpected. You never know when Trinity and her fellas may make a reappearance in any of the other series by the author, Laken Cane.To be honest there were times that I did not like Trinity in Lightbringer but considering some of the hell she's been through and changes that she had to undergo I guess I'd be a little hard to like, too. There were times that I was so happy because of the puzzle pieces falling into place, brief visits from people from another "world", and just the overall plot that I know I was smiling out loud. There were times when I was mad because I felt that Trinity was extremely selfish but in the end it all was perfect.Bravo on another perfect ending!!

Magical Moments
This story absolutely ended too soon, I wanted more at the ending. More Amias and more Trinity. It was a shame that everyone knew Rhys would become King of Everything, and no one told Trinity. She gave everything for the Supernaturals, even died and came back and still the Elders and Himself make her pay a cost.I hoped Angus would return to his family, Rhys would fly away, Leo would stay a friend BUT, Clayton, Amias, Shane and Trinity would live at the Crossroads house. Anyway - it was thrilling and I wish it never ended. Silverlight is a truly wonderful series. (Maybe a spin off) I would give 10 stars if possible ⭐️

Awww 🥰
I don’t know if i quite believe that this is the end of Silverlight.I have enjoyed all the characters and their stories. It’s always hard to say goodbye to a good series.I do have a couple of pet peeves for this one though not that it’s change my rating but has left me unfulfilled. Who is Owen? Why was that scene important? Not that I’ve read anything else from Laken I’m assuming Owen is from another series, idk 😐 and that ending I was hoping for a bigger battle and a thrown down was absolutely in order for Aspen, but to lose one of her men I felt like “hasn’t she sacrificed enough yet?” Oh well I absolutely love the adventure anyway!!
