We had two twin beds we thought we would need for relatives from overseas who have kids and were planning to stay a long time. They never came and we were stuck with these two beds. The bed bridge did the trick! We now have a fully functional "king-size" bed in the guest room and no one is any the wiser that it is not one bed. I was skeptical, but the belt really does keep the beds together. I guess you could feel the bridge if you wanted to, but we put a foam pad over it and it smoothed right over. Great purchase. Very pleased. BTW, it does not become a California king bed unless you have XL twins like they have in college dorms.

First month of using it it was a dream. Leveled the twin beds, couldn’t feel the edges of the mattresses, was amazing!!!!!!!! But after that month, the pad starting sinking between the beds which separated them. So we removed the pad but we still use the strap around to keep the beds together. Didn't work on my Sealy 14" Hybrid twin xl mattresses. Mattresses are tapered at the top so the gap is exceptionally wide. Bridge falls into the gap. Once I figure out how to fill the gap, the top padding will work to cover the filling. Clasp on the strap sliped each time i tried to snug it up. Solution was to use a large safety pin in addition to the clasp. Extremely long strap. For the right type mattresses it would be a good buy.

I have the twin beds for our guest room and most of the visitors come along or couples. I don’t like to purchase another queen bed frame and mattress for the space so I tried to look for some solutions and found this . After two weeks using I slept by myself, have to say it’s not as good as king size mattress, but it works not bad for the price. I can still feel it in the middle, not too much to affect my sleeping. The size is long enough for the two pieces of the twin mattress, easy installation.

This sounded like & looked like a great idea. However I would not recommend this product. I received the item & is was not very durable and it was not effective at all. It did not hold the mattresses together at all and the center piece was not big enough to keep you from going through the middle between the mattresses.

As far as it goes, it is as described. Works as it should, but, it isn't overly comfortable. The bridge itself is a bit thick and gets in the way. The material on top is rough and scratchy and very prone to pilling. The other issue we have is that the gap filler isn't big enough and just slips right out with any kind of movement.

I got this bed bridge kit for my wife.We have a divided sleep number bed and if she falls between the crack of the bed she hurts worse than she already does. This keeps her from sinking in the crack. And make him feel comfortable at night, it's easu to install just take several mins the job done. It goes around the entire square of the bed then tightens like a ratchet strap. It works perfect!

This bridge is a soft foam piece, it fills the gaps between the two twin beds to convert to a king bed perfectly. The best part is the belt that keeps the beds from separating. The insert has loops which attach to the belt to keep the insert from moving. The system works well once a mattress pad and sheet have been place over this piece. And my kids found the bed comfortable and secure once everything was in place. highly recommend!

We have two 6-inch thick mattresses that we wanted to conjoin on the bed. The converter is good but the band used to keep the converter firmly in place slips occasionally out of the mattress. But this is mainly because the mattress is not thick enough to provide enough real estate for the band to hold on to.

- If required for long term, best to glue mattresses together permanently with 3M spray adhesive. this product stays in place for a night or two, but then gets wedged between the mattresses, after which it never lies flat again; Always creates an uncomfortable bump.
