I returned a battery storage rack because it was flimsy and other things I didn't like that I thought showed poor attention to design. I ordered and received this one and I'm very pleased. The plastic is sturdier than the previous one, although there are fewer spaces for storage. However, I don't have children or loads of devices that require batteries, so the capacity of this one is just fine for me. The case closes nicely, and it is easily hung securely, if I choose to do that. The battery tester is identical to the other one, and is adequate, but I hope I don't drop it on a hard floor. Replacements are available if I do that. I think this is a better choice than the ones with a larger capacity, but questionable sturdiness and design.

I bought this battery holder for my mom as an early birthday present and it works perfectly. It’s something you don’t realize you need until you need batteries and have to search everywhere for them. With this, you can organize them and keep them somewhere you’ll remember!

This thing is awesome! Exactly what I needed. Fit roughly 75% of what I had, and bought to read the rest.Reader wasn't giving me any info on the 9V I had, but when I bought more it did, so it classifed it as a dead battery.Otherwise I love it! Just need to know where to store it. Can fit in drawer but tough to take out. Can hang in garage, but probably not best to do so in times of extreme heat or cold.

This battery storage unit does the job well. There will always be minor issues with these battery holders - in this case, the lack of 18650 storage and a cover hinge that could be beefier (maybe even one that opens 180 degrees). Also, the battery tester requires a bit of fiddling to remove.These, as stated, are minor things to deal with and are mostly forgotten with daily use. The design that keeps the cells in place is where this unit shines. I have it mounted vertically under my desk (front-facing rear panel) and its a joy to use and occasionally look at. All batteries, as well as the plastic coin-type battery holder, remain firmly in place. I like the clear cover because it only requires a glance to see what's under it.The practicality and design earned it 5 stars; its shortcomings I can live with.

Bought to mount on wall in garage but the pullout at the bottom will not come out so I can slant it so the batteries don't fall out of it. I spent nearly 30 minutes trying every imaginable tool I have to get it to release. I'm sure it holds batteries fine, but seems there is no qa on this product before shipping.

I've been debating for awhile now if a battery organizer is actually worth the money, but it really is! This organizer is great! The lid snaps shut and the individual battery slots also grip the batteries to hold them in place. This particular model is not hangable but its relatively slim and lightweight design allows it to be easily stored in a drawer. The battery tester works really well, although there is no indicator telling you what the voltage means (good/moderate/bad) so you have to guess or look it up. Dead batteries don't register at all on the tester, so that's pretty easy to recognize.

The product is a good value, but it has a design flaw in the lid. I was disappointed to find out that the lid on this case does not snap shut. The lid appears too large for the case, which prevents the latch from snapping shut. If you were to turn the case with the transparent lid facing the ground, the lid will swing open freely, allowing any loose batteries to fall out. I initially thought I had a defective unit, and exchanged for a new one from Amazon, but the replacement unit also has the same flaw.

Really like the battery case and tester, with one small quibble...after reading about the difficulty others were having pulling out the leveling leg for wall hanging, I attempted to pull out the one on my battery case, it broke. I don't think I was applying very much force, so it could be made better, but I don't plan on hanging mine on the wall, so it's not that big of a deal to me. Still, that's the difference between a 4 and a 5 star review, for me...other than that, great case and tester, and well worth what I paid for it.
