It is now Wednesday and I have the new batteries. It was entirely my own fault that the batteries had to be exchanged, but Lynx bore the entire expense of the exchange without even asking me to chip in (which I would have done as it was all my fault). I cannot review these 102 AH batteries apart from my customer service experience. They were shipped the day I ordered them and I have covered the exchange experience above. Over the top IMO. You should check your hair dryer for maximum watts it should be printed on a tag on the dryer that will drain the most or require the most power at one time... Besides that you'll need a way to charge the battery whether it's the alternator or a solar panel or a plug from the outside world like from your house or such. You'll need to figure out how much power you'll be using at any one time before charging the batteries that will tell you how many you need, batteries that is... I often capacity test this particular battery with a heater that pulls 750 watts takes about 2 hours to drain the battery That's using an inverter should give you an idea about 1500 watts. Further, if you go with solar panels you'll need a inexpensive charge controller..you can get one that integrates with the alternator of the vehicle.. all in all it's not really recommended to charge the battery off the alternator but you can do it just make sure you have the appropriate DC to DC converter renergy makes a good one that is all in one that is it'll charge from the alternator and the solar panels.... I have a t4 Volkswagen synchro I imported from Europe I have a solar panel on top but I also bought a small 600 watt generator. I have tested the power output and the battery is AS ADVERTISED! So please stop buying those $900.00 batteries, wasting money! I got a stat sheet that made programming my MPPT controller a snap.
