Sheds quite a bit and has a strong chemical smell at first, but I use them inside of guinea pig cage liners and they work just as well as other more expensive moving blankets I’ve purchased.

I am quite pleased with these for the price. I bought them as a cheaper alternative to regular moving blankets as I keep giving them away to customers who purchase my furniture. Regular moving blankets have recently increased enough in price that I can’t keep giving away so many so I ordered these instead. They are exactly as pictured and come very compressed in the box though fluff up a little bit once separated.The best way to describe them is they are like what I would expect to see inside of a moving blanket but without the fabric exterior and quilting. They are large enough that I’ve cut a few in half for smaller items and they are still good sized.I would give these five starts except these do have a noticeable odor that has not dissipated in the nearly two months that I’ve had them. This doesn’t bother me as I keep them in a chest in a garage but this may be an issue for others who are more sensitive or need to use them in an environment where odors are more of a problem. If I reorder and the odor isn’t an issue I’ll update my review.In my opinion this is a good value for the money depending on your sensitivity to odors.

Smells bad, but very good noise insulation

It was good enough for the move. I like that it was pretty long so it covered most of my furniture. The blanket is pretty thin. I noticed that it had already worn off due to friction during the move, so there were some holes already. Another thing to look out for is the smell, which is very strong. To me, smelled like gasoline and the smell really traveled far and throughout the entire room.

These are horrible. They smell of chemicals, petrol or motor oil. I have just one in my washer now hoping to get the smell out and my whole laundry room smells awful. I have no idea what these are made of but I would not suggest draping them over any objects that could absorb smell. I can taste it in the back of my throat and I haven't even been near them that much. Have my back door open by the laundry room. Too bad.

I received these today. I did not notice the strong odor that others have mentioned. But I opened them up in a well ventilated area. They are thinner than other moving blankets/pads but they will do the job and the price was right.

It meets my expectations for Quilt making.

Like others say, these have a chemical odor to them, not that big of deal. If you are wrapping around sharp corners, you could tear a hole in them. They are pretty much made of the stuffing that you would find inside of the moving blankets that are made with a fa ric that have the zig zag stitching.
