Just a Little Disappointed
I was pleased to find heated gloves with heat in the fingers. A little pricey, but I was truly freezing my hands in two pairs of gloves and mittens. The directions didn't tell me what the 3 different colors on the control box meant. I am still trying to figure that out. I tried wearing the heated gloves on one hand and regular gloves and mittens on the other. The heated gloves were only a tad warmer. I so wanted this to be a successful purchase. I'm sad...and my hands are still cold.

questions as to operation hindering evaluation
This came with no information as to what the different LED's indicated. There is a red, amber, and green. The batteries tend to rattle around somewhat loosely. I placed liner in space under the battery and under slide off cover and on each side of each battery. After this adjustment, the light stayed on while I exercised at slow run. Otherwise, no light most of the time. The size of the battery boxes could be reduced by 5-6 mm width and the side spacers might not be needed. I use Amazon batteries which seem to be standard size. I don't believe without spacers all around added that these are work. The spring coils are not strong and just barely useful. They are large and tight sleeves won't work well with them, at least the battery component is large. You can't use a watch and wear these with reasonable effort unless you put battery compartment on your forearm. This would be difficult.I use nothing but the red setting which is the warmest.Follow up: I have used these about 15 times while jogging slowly. They keep my fingers from getting cold. They will NOT make your hands feel hot or even warm. I think they are satisfactory for my purposes and I can recommend them if you are sensitive to cold. I have not worn them more than 60 minutes. I find that having the battery compartment under my wrist works slightly better for me. I warm a loose fitting very light wind buffer type jacket over them OK. A small amount a bare skin is exposed but inconsequential.

The lesser of two evils
These gloves are the lesser of two evils. I have searched extensively online for heated gloves and the only ones that seem slightly better are $200 heated gloves similar to these ones. Now I would be angry and demand my money back for these barely slightly warming gloves but seeing how there are no other options I cannot do much but to keep them. I use these gloves to ride my bike to and from work, and for me that's about a 20 minute ride. Seeing how I live in Pittsburgh, PA we get extremely extremely cold winters with dangerous wind chills to which also doesn't help. Nevertheless even on an average typical cold winter day these gloves barely warm your hands, even if you do wear them under another pair of gloves. The whole battery attached cord set up is not pleasant. These cords are really short and make it difficult to do anything without worrying about yanking the cords. Not to mention the fact that you have to find somewhere to put your battery packs and most people won't be able to hold them so you have to put them in your pockets. Unless you have side coat pockets then this is using a lot of your cord slack. It would be better if the battery pack was attached to the gloves, it's really not heavy at all. I think an average cell phone weighs equal to if not slightly more than it. Word to the wise. USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES, you need 6 double A batteries total. Bottom line if you are desperate like me and need anything that will give even if the slightest hint of warmth in the cold and you have little to no money get these. However if you are rolling in the Benjamins do yourself a favor and by some real heated glove liners.

You get what you pay for.
At this price they help a little, however my expectations were a bit higher. To be honest, At 32 degree weather they certainly help it so my fingers aren't just feeling numbing pain, but they aren't toasty warm either. It would help if there was some warmth on the back of the hands and by the knuckles. For the price I can't complain too much.

Don't recommend, never can get them to warm up at all.
I haven't ever been able to get any heat our of them, so I end up using them just as gloves. I put a silk-glove liner in them, as by themselves they aren't up to ur NorthEast winters. Dug them out and gave them another try this very cold year, but still can't get them to do anything. If I had been able to try them, for real, in the 30-day time period, I would have returned them.

They definitely help
I have Reynauds so my fingers are often painfully cold when shoveling snow. With these under well insulated gloves I still get cold but not to the painful stage. That's an improvement! My only complaint is the length of the strap on the battery box requires me to wrap it all the way around the box to get it snug and then it's a bit too tight. I may try it further up my forearm next time.

STOP! and read before you buy anything from Warmawear.
My wife gave me the glove liners as a gift for Christmas. When I opened them up there was a small hole in one of the gloves. Really not a deal breaker for me and would have kept them. After using the correct batteries and trying on they just did not get as warm as I needed. The kicker is, I sent the company an email asking for store credit or full refund. they claim they have no record of the purchase.I sent all the information we had that came with the order but still would not return. I'm stuck with gloves that don't work and out of the money as well. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!
