Fits grill and old divider plate perfectly
Fit perfectly in Primo Oval XL. Have original divider plate from 15 years ago and fits perfectly in new charcoal grate. Some older reviews had said it did not fit.

Make Your Primo Good as New
Our Primo finally melted in two pieces. Despite the need to re.ive all remaining charcoal, it was easy to replace. Simply wait until charcoal needs to be replaced. Makes the Primo just like new.

This one is a vast improvement on the original from 15 years ago. The original started curving up very quickly after first few uses. So far this one is retaining shape very well.

Great replacement with one small issue
I bought this to replace my original grate which had become warped over time due to the heat of the charcoal. This was a perfect fit in my Primo Oval XL; however, the divider wall which is intended to fit in the two notches on the top doesn't fit due to the notches being cast too small. I found that I had to grind the notches larger to accept the steel divider plate. Minor issue on an otherwise good replacement.

Fits nice and loose so it won’t expand and crack the fire box
Nice casting but why in the world would anyone paint a charcoal grate. Have to sand blast before using or your grill will taste like burning paint

Fits 2014 Oval XL
Perfect fit for my 2014 Primo Oval XL. My old charcoal grate finally gave up and cracked into pieces! This one looks more robust than the older design but time will tell!
