if you are buying this with the intention to use it in place of your conditioner, dont. it's not like conditioner at all, its more like a dye. it has really strong pigments which is good but you almost need to treat it like a dye otherwise you come out of the shower with patchy red areas in your hair and stains all over the tiles!

Was meant to be ginger but it’s red

My hairdresser recommended that I use the Goldwell Color Revive conditioner between hair colorings. My hair is a beautiful ginger color. I used the Color Revive and my hair turned ORANGE! It was blotchy with streaks of shocking orange. I rushed to my hairdresser and she used a product to take it out without removing the hair color I had just done weeks before. It toned it down but my hair is still pinkish orange. It is awful. Now I will have to have my hair recolored for $285. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hair product. If you want really orangish red hair (think Bozo the clown) - go for it. Otherwise stay away at all cost.

I just want to caution anyone who might be in a similar situation I found myself in: I am usually a blonde/light brown with grays. Recently I tried to go to a warmer, coppery color. I had heard this product was good for keeping it revived. Well- I left it in maybe 2 minutes, rinsed out, and was left with patchy red spots in my hair. I thought it would wash out but it hasn’t now over a month later. Even after a very expensive color correction, the stylist couldn’t entirely fix it. So…just proceed with caution.

Ich habe schon einige Conditioner mit Färbeeffekt ausprobiert und mich hat bisher keiner wirklich überzeugt. Ich habe zuletzt vor 1,5 Monaten mein Rot gefärbt, welches bereits ziemlich verblichen war. Die Anwendung des Goldwell Conditioners erzielt sichtbare Farbergebnisse, ähnlich einer Tönung. Das Rot erscheint wieder kräftiger und frischer. Ich hatte dies nicht erwartet und bin begeistert. Die 200ml Tube scheint bei wöchentlicher Anwendung auch ergiebig. Einziger Nachteil, daher auch nur 4 Sterne: Durch den großen Färbeeffekt sind kurzzeitig die Hände und auch die Badewanne unschön gefärbt. Daher lieber mit Handschuhen arbeiten und das Bad direkt ausspülen und ggf säubern. Das nehme ich dennoch gerne in Kauf, da ich endlich ein Produkt für Rottöne gefunden habe, das mich überzeugt.
