MGI SpeedWare Safety Flip Covers for Bat-Handle Toggle Switch 5-Pack (Blue)

A good part of the cover is dedicated to the mechanism thus the cover will not cover all positions of the toggle. The alignment tab often needs to be removed due to switch orientation.. The cover does have good quality of parts and will stay in the open position when released.

^These snap close pretty hard. They feel super cheap. But they are holding up great. I probably wouldnt use them for my F-18 firing switch or the Cooling Tank Drain Switch on my Personal Fusion Reactor. But Cool for a show car.

When these snap down the spring is powerful enough to hit the switch into the down position, there is a plastic shield molded into the design that causes this. Had to cut it out with a dremel to make this usable. That might not be an issue for some uses, but it’s far to easy to accidentally snap the lid down and turn off whatever you’re using.

I used these to replace Eaton switch covers on railroad electronic equipment, just as good as the Eatons at a fraction of the cost!

I like the style of them. The only issues I saw were, they close super aggressively and the finish came scratched. On top of only having 4 out of 5 of them.
