Great sequel and good read. I enjoyed seeing how Hana and Daud’s story continues and their characters develop. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable, timely and suspenseful read
I loved the way the author combined a gripping story with spiritual insights and so timely with all that's going on in Israel. The only thing I didn't like so much was getting a little bogged down in some of the details and many foreign names that had me going back and looking up who's who. But it all came together. Well worth reading.

Christian fiction legal thriller
This is book two. It's important to read Chosen People first. Educational about international legal situations. Whitlow is a talented author.

If I could give this book and Book#1 10 stars, I would!!
There is no way I can write a review about “Promise Land” without including “Chosen People” in this review.. You need to read “Chosen People”first! All the characters in each book are introduced in “Chosen People” and the story continues in “Promise Land”. The characters are so well developed to the point they became more than just characters in the story, they truly become people you love and care for. I loved the relationship between Hana & Sadie! I loved the descriptions through the book of the cultures and peoples of Israel and Palestine and the thrilling intrigue through each book? There are lots of high risk situations and good and bad choices with certain characters that will keep your stomach tied up in knots and on the edge of your seat!!These two books are 2 of my favorite all time favorites! I keep trying to figure out if there is a still a 3rd book to come in this series! I’m praying there is!!!

Best, best, best I've read in years! Rating should be double the 5 stars!
What a wonderful story whose characters and situations and locales could have come directly from today's headlines. I am hungry for Hana's and Daud's story to continue, but meanwhile will make more of Whitlow's books priorities on my reading list. Best of all, this tale made my heart swell with joy to be a follower of Christ, a daughter of the King!

Amazing Read
Robert Whitlow's novels just keep getting better and better. You'll never be disappointed in his writing. This is book 2 of a series but if you don't read the first one you will still easily understand this one.The main characters Hana and Daud are newly weds and their Christian spirituality, humor, selflessness shine through. Daud's dangerous assignments create the suspense and I really enjoyed Avi's character. Hana's spiritual depth really challenges one to look for closely at our own relationship with God. Whitlow did an excellent job of showing the depth of her character and her willingness to devote time to a young child who has lost her mother. If you don't read this Whitlow novel it will be your great loss! Hoping that Whitlow is working on the third series to this one as he did leave things open at the end for another one. Loved the name of Hana and Daud's first son!

God's plan is perfect.
A peak into the world of Israel born Arabs who serve Jesus with their lives and the tremendous calls they face. The events of the story reveal the characters trust in God to give them peace in the challenges they face in a complex world.

Large Print Books disapointment.
When searching for this book I specifically typed large print books. The order was delivered in a timely fashion however came in small print...very difficult to read. Do not have a printer in order to print a return document so I'm a little disappointed.
