I liked these shorts, I have other Marika pants & shorts that are a different style in the same size, so that is consistent between styles.I don’t use these for working out, just working from home haha!

Baggy at knees
The material is nice quality like most Marika fitness clothing. The shorts are not fitted at the knee, which in this kind of fabric looked and felt strange to me so I returned. Also, they fit large overall compared to other shorts in this brand.

Smaller than expected
I have purchased Marika shorts before. For some reason, these run smaller than the ones I bought a year or so ago.

Beware! These are not the good thick cotton Marikas!
Addendum: Amazon posted my review (see below) of 2 pair of black Becca tummy control Bermuda length shorts, which are 89% cotton/11% spandex, here, and these are definitely NOT that! I ordered the heathered charcoal color, and they were half polyester and thin and not good at all--I returned them. I also told amazon that the fiber content was wrong for the heathered charcoal color, but they have never corrected it. Beware!Original review: I detest polyester! These are cotton/spandex, and they are thick, compressive, soft, stretchy, and comfortable. Marika exercise pants seem to be made for my body. The tummy control really does control, the high waist blocks muffin tops, and I can wear size M whether I'm at my desired weight of 125 or have eaten too many goodies and am at 150! I have 15-20 pair of Marika shorts, capris, and leggings. (I teach exercise and do my own routine daily!) I like the longer length shorts best of all. They are cooler than capris or leggings, but they also keep your thighs warm while moving that booty!

Weird fit
They are a bit bigger I ordered a medium so they would be snug but they could be tighter for a medium. They are long ! Almost under my knee and I’m average height 5’5 5’6. Also the band is big so keep that in mind it goes much higher than expected
