Authentic Knitting Board Flexee Loom Links Chunky, Large Gauge, for Bulky Yarn, 36 Links, 72 pegs

I wanted to make lapghans for charity from the 20+ skeins of blanket yarn (6 weight) I have. I crochet but I prefer to not use this yarn because its so bulky. I've used looms for years but needed wider pegs. This loom works perfectly! I'd prefer all straight because it's a bit cumbersome when knitting big items because it is flexible. SOLUTION: I used zip ties and attached to a yardstick. Then I can cut off when I'm done to use for other projects. Works like a champ!

So I've been crocheting for a few years now, like a maniac, and I tried loom knitting a couple of years ago and got addicted to that too. I bought a cheap round loom set off Amazon with 4 sizes of round looms, plus a rake loom. That wasn't a bad set, but these Flexee looms are better then any other loom for one feature that no other loom has: you can adjust the size, increasing or decreasing, basically at will, by binding off stitches and then removing the links. They're pretty easy to use, the plastic is nice and thick and seems like it'll last for a while. User-friendly, just clip them together in the order that you want - there's rounded-edge and straight-edge pieces in two different colors. I like that they come in two sizes, I bought one of each size. They're just a great loom and I would say, if you're new to looming and looking at buying some sort of loom set, think about buying these. You can use one or a few boxes of these in place of any other loom set, and you can knit flat or in the round with them, along with being able to decrease / increase easier. Plus, they're customizable, since you can buy another box and add that to the set you already have, so you can basically make any size flat or round loom that you need for the particular project you're doing. The wood looms are nice for people that can afford it, but for me, these looms are absolutely perfect, they hit all the marks, and I would definitely recommend to anybody who likes to knit or crochet. Can't say enough good things about them!

I love this flexi loom! I found a pattern for the spiral knit hat by Ms Yarn on YouTube. I also had a very pleasant experience with the company who sold me this loom. For the spiral knit hat, I needed an odd number of pegs. I reached out to the company to ask if they have a 3 pegs option and they responded right away that they do have them on their website! I’m so excited to be able to do this pattern without having to remember to shift over a marker. I had a 8 hour drive (as passenger) one way and another 8 hours back. The flexi-loom was very easy to store in my knitting bag whenever I needed to. And it matches my orange cat, to which he wanted to make sure I provided that info as part of the 5 star experience.

I purchased this to make blankets and didn’t like the weird creases I would get on other looms that you get where they bend. The idea of this is great so that you don’t have to reshape the finished product. My only issue was that my blanket came out way looser even though it is the exact same gauge as my other looms. Just be aware of that. It is easy to assemble although I did have one come apart probably from the weight of the blanket but it popped back together with no damage. I really like how it folds up and is so much easier for storing my WIP. The price is also really great considering how expensive some can be.

Size: One "regular" set allows you to knit up to a 42" wide project. Likes: You can combine multiple sets for wider projects like blankets. I used the links from 2 sets to make a queen sized blanket. And because the pegs have a groove cut into them, you can use the included pick to hook and lift up finer yarns over the pegs (large rigid looms don't have these grooves, so you have to use thicker yarn that is able to be picked up with your fingers) Dislike: It moves and flexes like a snake, making it hard to slide over as you work down the row. I'm sure the flexibility would help if I wanted to fold it up and take the project with me to work on it in different places. But because of the size, I'm only working on it while sitting on my couch or bed, so I don't need it to be portable. Workaround: I duct taped it to yardsticks to make it rigid, which allows it to easily slide it across my lap as I work down the row. This gives me the stability of a large rigid loom, while the grooves in the pegs allow me to work with finer yarn. It doesn't look pretty, but it suits my purposes.

I love this knitting loom. I’ve used several different sizes of the round knitting looms. I’ve enjoyed using the round looms, however, I wanted to try knitting a baby blanket which would have been too big on any of my round looms. So, I decided to try the Flexee loom and am so glad that I did! It’s perfect for knitting a baby blanket. With the loom segments flexible, it’s much easier to handle a larger project. Also, I love having two pegs per segment - it just makes it so much easier to keep track of the pattern stitches. I would highly recommend the Flexee loom. It is built well and is easy to use.

Soooo convenient to use! Especially for designs that need stitch decreases or increases. Great for carrying on the go as well. Just might be my favourite loom, at least for now.

I bought this for myself with the intention of making a 12 peg loom. I also love the idea of being able to make other sizes as needed. While a little fiddly, once it is together it is quite sturdy. It comes apart easy when you want it to but is not loose and does not fall apart on it's own. However, I am glad I didn't buy this as a Christmas present. The way it was packaged, thrown into a non-padded bag that was too big for the box, was terrible. The product box itself is dented and I would of been disappointed to give this as a gift to anyone. Although it did arrive much sooner than expected. Overall great product, but I am disappointed with how it was shipped.
