Northside Monroe Low Junior Hiking Boot (Infant/Toddler/Little Kid)

These shoes sell for far more at North 40, probably since they are made with actual leather. The sole is non slick material, not the lightweight plastic that seem to be on most toddler shoes currently in stores. I chose this particular shoe after seeing the arch support that they provide for my toddler, so that his feet are well supported as he grows. I like them so much that I have bought them in multiple sizes, just in case they don't have them available in the years to come.

My 5 years old boy normally wears 11, and I bought size 13, WHY?1st= because reviewers voted for "runs small"2nd=because I usually buy a size up.Conclusion 2 sizes up for me worked perfect.He had these shoes on for days, during all day during our camping trip for 5 days, he hiked, ran and stayed quiet and played around, he NEVER complained about pain or discomfort, heavy shoes or ark pain, and he was so proud about his comfy hiking shoes, I saw him rock hiking with confidence offered for the good traction of this shoe and he felt as he could go as fast and far as daddy!Good for the price, nice good looking shoes, he recently used them for walking at the zoo all day, those are his warrior hiking shoes as he called, his 4X4 shoes (yes, Jeep family here)Recommended!

These are so cute and my son really liked the look of them, but we ordered a size 5 since he is between a 4 and 5 depending on the brand and these were so small, he could barely get his foot in and couldn’t even wiggle his toes. Unfortunately, We will be returning and not reordering right now as we need shoes for him for an upcoming hike. I’d like to order a larger size but they won’t be in in time. I will say myself and fiancé both have hiking shoes by this brand and love them so 4 stars because even though they’re too small, I am sure if we had a larger size they’d be great.

Since this is my son's shoe, I had to give it 4 stars simply because I don't know if it has good arch support or not. It does run small, so I buy one whole shoe size larger. This price point is excellent. The first pair we bought from an outlet store, on sale they were $25.00. So under $20.00 is an excellent deal. Normally our son scrapes a hole in the toe of his tennis shoes, thus we are constantly replacing just for that! This pair lasted 3 times longer than any other tennis shoe he has ever worn. This shoe hold up over time. Any negatives of the shoe running small, can be remedied by buying bigger sizes. Highly recommend this shoe for kids!

Bought these for my 10 year old who was going on a Cub Scout camping trip and wanted more sturdy shoes than just his sneakers. I ordered one size larger than his sneakers and they fit well with a little room to grow. I spayed them with water proofing when we got them in case it rained. My son wore them all weekend and found them to be comfortable. I think they are great shoes for the price.

As long as you know to buy a size or two larger, these are great shoes. My 7 year old loves them. He is a size 13 and we bought a size 1. Its a little snug, so I probably should have ordered a size 2, because he could be close to a 1 at this point. Otherwise great shoes. Stayed tied. He played and hiked him them for 11 days straight of camping. Good value.

Definitely size up twice. I followed this advice and got a boot with a little room to grow for my 5 1/2 year old son.

This might be a fantastic shoe, but it pinched my son's toes and he didn't tell me until after he had already worn them around, so I didn't return. Very good looking and seemingly sturdy though.

Le quedaron bien a mi hijo, se ven de buena manufactura, espero que le sean durables ya que es de pie pesado.
