Clearest picture of any TV I have ever owned...
I sent back a different TV from another manufacturer that was complete junk and purchased this one from Vizio. Smartest move I ever did...This 50" TV is truly the clearest and brightest picture that I have ever seen or owned. Also the controls are the easiest to operate and very simple to understand. I highly recommend this Vizio unit and I will be purchasing another...

A Very Good Picture Quality For A TV
I'm using this TV in my photo studio, more as a computer monitor than a TV. It's picture quality is very close to high quality computer displays and works great to display photos to my customers for their approval before I print them. For TV use, I'm wishing that the remote had a picture zoom button, like my previous digital TVs. I do sometimes watch old movies on it, and wish I could fill the screen rather than watch it in it's original format.Although it had a delivery date over a week away when I ordered it, the TV arrived in only 3 days in perfect condition. The original TV box was inside an outer box with bubble fill between them. The TV itself was surrounded by molded foam pieces.

Happy as a peach!
This is my first 4K TV and so far I am damn impressed! After spending some time in the setup and configuring based on some online suggested settings, I jumped right into the awe and luster of it all! Box to Boxoffice was all about about half an hours worth of setup. I don't have mine mounted to the wall - so that probably saved me a good chunk of time. The screen is crisp and clean without any kind of ghosting (at least none that I can notice). My PS4 games look sooooo good. There's a feature to reduce gaming lag and it does its job quite well. I appreciate that the TV is smart enough to remember the setting when I flip from Smartcast to HDMI1, so I don't have to reset it every time I want to play a game. All the professional reviews I read about this TV have been spot on. Any of the negatives I've read here have either not plagued me, or were resolved by spending some time in the settings (turning off timers and such). An added bonus is that the TV integrates well with my Vizio sound bar. I have it connected via the optical audio and the TV remote turns on and controls it! This may be a standard feature, but it tickles me to no end that I only have to use one remote. The only drawbacks I've noticed I was already expecting thanks to the above mentioned professional reviews. The Smartcast interface is... oof... it's rough. Slow, janky and sometimes it kicks you out of the app. That said, once you're into your service of choice and watching a movie or whatever, no complaints at all. The remote is a little cumbersome, such that it really doesn't want to stay in your hand. But on the plus side, you don't have to point the remote at the TV to work it.All in all, neither one of these are dealbreakers. Finally, kudos to Amazon and Circuit City - they got my TV to me in one piece and 4 days earlier than projected! So thanks for that. Heads up - the TV does ship in its OEM very obvious box. Everyone will know what you're getting. So make sure you're home when it's delivered, just to be safe.Vizio did a great job with this TV and I couldn't be happier. I like that I was able to opt out of the tracking and suggestions, at least to the point that if they are tracking - they're doing a great job of not being intrusive in any way. No ads or anything like that.At the end of the day, I feel I could have done way worse for the price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a massive TV with 4k UHD and good integration, but also needs to do other things like buy food and pay bills. There may be better out there for more... but honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing out.

A great TV
I originally ordered a renewed television of the same make (from another supplier) and it quickly became defective. I ordered a replacement (again from another supplier) and it came with a cracked screen. This television came in perfect condition and is working perfectly. THANK-YOU!

Just stopped working after roughly two months…
Great picture, lots of streaming options, was great until the screen suddenly went blank, will not respond to remote at all. This is the second model I have gotten - the first had to be returned due to a speaker issue. Troubleshooting suggestions refer to buttons on the remote that aren’t there.

Great TV for a great price!
I have had Vizios in the past and have had no issues with them. Its a great second TV for the basement family room.

Amazing
This is my fourth Vizio TV. The first I had for 4 months, a 40 inch I had to sell on Craigslist because I needed money to move. I got a good price for it and was sold within ten minutes of posting it. The second was a 40 inch, 3D smart TV I bought in 2012. I sold in in 2014 because I needed rent money. I know the buyer and it still works. The the third was a 24 inch smart TV I bought as an emergency monitor for a laptop whose screen I cracked. It was like 20 cheaper than a 24 inch computer monitor plus I could use it as a TV. That was in 2014 and it still works except for the apps. This baby is awesome. Maybe too good. There is nothing worse than seeing an actor with a blackhead on their face that needs to be squeezed. You don't get that type of resolution even on the big screen at a movie theater. I did have one problem. The screen was freaking out one day. I ended unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. Problem fixed.

Pretty Please with this TV
My Television was old. I've had it for almost 12 years and it still works, but it only had 1 HDMI slot, was small and a bit heavy even though it is a flat screen; it was time for an upgrade. The old TV was Vizio and, I thought if it has held up so would this one.The initial setup was pretty simple and straight forward (you might want to get some help to remove from the box). The picture quality (over HDMI) it clear and it has enough ports for all my devices. It did take me a bit to figure out how to go from the home screen to TV. There are no operating instructions in the box, only setup. The reason why I got this TV was for the built in Apps (CBS all Access, Disney Plus, Netflix, etc) they work very well and I've never add an issues navigating / using any of them. I was pleasantly surprised that Apple TV is built in and I can screen mirror my iPhone or iPad right to the TV without needing additional components. (I no longer need my Apple TV - Black Box)If I had to find one thing that would be a con, it is the audio. While there are many audio options including fix variable, volume leveling, I found myself adjusting the volume several times during a program (broadcast TV, not when using the apps)I would still recommend this TV - For the price and what you get, you can't beat it
