it works really well and does not look as odd as you might fear; lacks a flow restrictor filter.
Very decorative and a nice change on the all-too-common industrial design seen everywhere. Easy to install, works great. The control handle is more like a joystick, as it just moves around the vertical; this makes it tricky to increase or decrease volume while keeping the temperature within desirable range -- unlike with most faucets, you want just fingertip control here. Fortunately, the "joystick" is very responsive and requires almost no force to move. Not the best for kids, as it does not have an obvious "off" position. The faucet spout is very low (just 4.3" from the sink top) and very close to the back of the sink (a mere 4.2" from the center of the body), so it's not the first choice for hand washing.Installation is straighforward as long as you have enough space underneath the counter between the edge of the sink and the back of the cabinet: instead of the common threaded metal rod between the pair of water hoses, what holds the faucet in place is a large nut that tightens on the body of the faucet. Very simple and secure, but tightening that large nut in a tight space is very difficult. My one complaint and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that it does not come with a flow restrictor tip, but a simple mesh filter that cannot be installed or removed with the usual notched cylindrical plastic key. (You need pliers and the slight flats on each side of the tip are very small, so use many small rotations.) As a result, be careful on first turning it on -- at full flow, it's a fire hydrant, more suited to a belching dragon than to a graceful swan ;-) I replaced the filter tip (it's not an easy size to find in the US, 16.5mm, also called Tom Thumb) and discarded the metal insert, just using a threaded Tom Thumb aerator/flow limiter insert.Note added after 2 years of use: the "durable finish" (the aged oiled bronze) is coming off the raised surfaces, such as the feather ridges on the wings. This actually enhances the look, with the nearly black wings highlighted in reddish brass, but I can see that 4-5 years down the road it may not look so good.

SO COOL
The faucet was much heavier and high quality then I was expecting. It very quirky and a focal point for sure. If you saw this in the bathroom of a restaurant you’d tell your friends to go to the bathroom just to see it. I love it!

Unique Faucet
We love this faucet! When we remodeled my great-grandfather's 132 year old house we tried to give it the feel of an antique house but hoped it would work as well as a modern house. We added a bathroom sink into a 1930's dresser, it has worked great but after 22 years the sink faucet had to be replaced. We wanted something that would look old but in antiqued brass. So, when we found this faucet it was perfect. It has added a fun touch to the bathroom and it works GREAT. It was easy to install and we love how it functions. You can control the water better than any bathroom faucet we have ever owned. It is easy to get the speed of the water stream and it doesn't spray water all over the place. It is solidly made of brass.

Aesthetically pleasing, but leaves a little to be desired
We installed this in our hall bath remodel. My son (3 years old) thinks it's the coolest thing in the world, and the few guests we've had over loved it. It is definitely a conversation piece. However, it wasn't easy it install. Namely because of the aerator that comes with it. It's an odd size. Also, the water pressure is incredibly high. I am concerned that when COVID is over and we have parties that guests are going to turn it on full blast, causing water to spray out of the sink area and on to the cabinets. I plan to just communicate to them that the faucet is really powerful. I've even accidently sprayed myself with water a few times. Overall, I'm pleased with the aesthetic of it, but function leaves a bit to be desired.

A Conversation Piece
We are in love with this beautiful faucet! It's a conversation piece...our friends are amazed! First of all, it came with the aerator. A few other reviews said it didn't, but ours does and it has a very nice flow. Second, it's heavy and very well made. Lastly, it was easy to install and works amazing!

easier to install
this unit was easier to install than the older model. the directions lost a lot in translation from Chinese to English as they were almost worthless. the unit works and looks good though.

Sad, not excited about this purchase
*sighs* I absolutely loveeeee this piece. It's solid, has good weight and thickness to it. Nice finish, but...... I'm going to have to return it. It's just an incomplete purchase. It literally just comes as a faucet piece. Does not include a base plate (not even optional), does not include the sink drainage piece, does not include pieces to screw it in under the sink.I have a 4 inch 3 hole sink, so I then had to purchase (not 1, but 2) different base plates. Then to realize I won't be able to control my sink water clogged. The actual Swan faucet dimensions are too big to fit into the holes on my sink. Maybe I have a small sink? I don't know.. looks pretty standard to me.It's just not a convenient product. And I tried to see another option. Maybe a 4in Swan with handles, and nothing.... just the 8in
