Best manga EVER!
Bleach is one of the most popular shonen in Japan. And with good reason. I was first introduced to the anime series in 2006 by a friend. I decided to watch it online and was hooked. In a matter of days I had blown thru all the current episodes. I was addicted. So addicted in fact that I decided to start reading chapters online to find out what happened next. If I was just addicted at first I just became obsessed. The manga was much more intense than the anime, as I found out, and I just couldn't get enough of it. I lived to read the new scanlation week to week for all these years and still do. I figured if I enjoyed the series this much I might as well just start buying the series. I had acquired several from my brother who had gone and bought them. Now I'm just filling in the blanks and I'm going to keep going until I have every last one! I could read these over and over (I have already)! If you haven't read the manga yet and are thinking about it, stop thinking and start doing! There is a reason this series is so wildly popular! It has most elements a shonen should: humor, action, awesome and intricate character design, an amazing story line... did I mention humor? In my own opinion, the manga is far better than the anime series and is more than worth having around.

it’s okay looking
I got it a couple of days ago so this review is late. But over all the book was fine asides the back and front are bent. The front was okay I didn’t mind it but the back was worse the edge of the back was completely bent and. I kinda of expected it to turn out like that but that’s all I gotta say it’s still good over all the other pages are fine it’s just the front and back.

Ichigo Remembers Mommy... And Fights Her?
This volume of Bleach follows Ichigo as he remembers his mother and the circumstances behind her death. Eventually, a hollow shows up to wreck Ichigo's day of mourning, yet this hollow seems to have a direct connection to Ichigo's mother's death, and this is one connection Ichigo can't forgive. Along the way, we are introduced to Kon, the teddy bear body of the mod soul introduced in the previous volume. And Orihime and Tatsuki, Ichigo's classmates, discuss the events surrounding Ichigo's mother's death. Most of this volume is back story and the fighting of the same creature, so it lost a little of the speed that was introduced in the first volume. But this was one of those inevitable slow-downs, as the events in this volume are important in making the characters more lovable, especially Ichigo. Seeing him as a cry-baby youngster and seeing the change that happened because of his mother's death really solidifies his tough-guy attitude, which is really a defense mechanism to keep people away from him and out of danger. This will become obvious to you once you read this volume (and I assure you, this isn't a spoiler as none of this is mentioned).Still, even though this volume slowed a bit I still have to recommend it, mainly because of the ending cliff-hanger, as it appears to introduce a true antagonistic force. Plus, the art is still the same and comedy, when it's there, is enough to smile at, even if most of it is unoriginal.

Good backstory for Ichigo
This volume answers some questions about Ichigo's past, like what happened to his mother. He also faces an opponent he truly struggles with for the first time. You start to understand Ichigo a little better, and why he is the way he is. While not a tremendous amount happened plot-wise, I feel like this was an important volume for understanding Ichigo. And now we're starting to see enemies becoming more serious and challenging. Ichigo won't be able to get by anymore by just attacking the way he has thus far in the series. Hes going to have to be smarter and stronger going forward.

A small let-down from first two volumes, but still very good.
Adds good character development, but something about this one made me stop - sensing a deviation from Vol 1+2 that makes this less appealing to me.

Dark memories
This third volume of Bleach delves into Ichigo's past as the anniversary of his mother's death approaches dredges up painful memories and leads to new revelations. This volume gives a good indication of what drives Ichigo and is quite touching in places but that doesn't stop it being exciting and funny in places as well. As you would expect there is little in the way of action in the beginning but it does pick up towards the end and even when it is slow it is never boring so this is definitely not a criticism. Bleach is a turning into a great series and I am looking forward to reading more.

Great Service
This product was delivered very quickly and in excellent condition. I was a bit worried when I ordered because it was to be a Christmas present so obviously needed to be in perfect condition - but Amazon really packaged the book well!Of course, it's a great manga, so I would recommend this to anyone who is into the genre (it might be best if you've read or seen 1&2 first though!)
