An awesome pen and new regular!
5 stars to the seller, to those in delivery, and to the Uni Jetstream edge pen! I love the .28 nib! I am excited about this pen on every facet! It’s smooth fine line, feel of the road. It is like an expensive sports car ride. You will always get a smoother write, most of the time from a 1.0. I consider 1.0’s like the smooth ride of a big Cadillac or Lincoln. This pen’s feel and 0.28 mm nib offer a smooth write with also the light feel of the road that adds better control for a better legible write. A most excellent pen. You will always see me carrying this and the Signo 0.28 in my pocket! The ones to beat, in my opinion. I cannot wait to try out the Edge 3 which offers multi colors - a pen I use much in the field of my work!

Awesome Writing/Drafting Instrument
Like all Uni products, the quality, look and feel are excellent. In my case I keep a journal daily using the 'Eisenhower' layout with a few boxes added showing my daily sales numbers vs. goal. Using a small paper thin ruler that fits the journal's pocket, the edge was not friendly to various gel pens I tried using. The Fisher Astronaut pen holds up well in this regard, but designed more for writing and doing continuous lines, leaves some annoying artifacts. The Jetstream .28mm is really superior - I can use the side of the point right against the ruler edge with no worries of damage to the pen, as I do my Rotring 600 mechanical pencil. The oil ink has a perfect flow. Not forgiving if I make my own error, but as long as I do my part, the reward is bold but spiderweb-thin lines with no streaks, clots or any other sloppiness. Completely worth the price without going into professional grade drafting instruments!

Sleek
The pen feels great, quality wise. It’s amazing that they can get a ballpoint pen on 0.28mm. The ink is nice and it doesn’t smear easily. I also haven’t had any bleed through issues. I do wish it wrote a bit smoother it has a bit of a scratchy feel but that is somewhat expected with the finer tipped pens. Overall it’s a sleek pen and I enjoy using it.

Best 0.28 mm pen!
Literally my favorite pen, if you like a thin tip that flows smoothly, this is the best. The 0.28 mm tip pen from muji always stops working for me after awhile even before using all the ink, I think the tip gets clogged or something but that has never happened with this pen. Highly recommend for 0.28 mm tip pen lovers!

The white body - red clip pen has black ink, not red ink as in 2nd picture from top
I bought this pen on 9-26-2023 for $8.21. I was very annoyed and disappointed to find that the refill in the pen has black ink, not red ink. If you look at the pictures for this listing, for the pen sold by Amazon, the 2nd picture in the verticle column on the left clearly shows the white body - red clip pen with a sample of writing in RED ink, not black. In the description it says the color is "black." Exactly what on the pen is black? It doesn't say, "black ink." The actual pen has a black trim ring where the two halves of the pen screw together. The push-button on the top of the pen is black. So in that respect, you could say the color is black, couldn't you? Amazon should correct the listing to say "black ink" to remove all ambiguity as to what you are buying, because the picture is very mis-leading. Now I have the pleasure of buying a ten-pack of red refills, which will last me 25 years, but the majority of the 10 refills will be lost or mis-placed somewhere within 2 years, and then I can buy them all over again. The pen itself: I love it, it is a fantastic pen. You should see the little, slim, clear plastic case containing the pen. It is a marvel of design and holds the pen securely in the case without rattling around. Nobody makes pens like this except in Japan. Buy it, if you want black ink.

It writes, sometimes.
It's a very very small ball, so of course it will have a bit of trouble writing. The line is very thin, and it's a dense, good quality plastic design. Ink had trouble from the beginning but it smoothed out for a while. It then dried out a couple weeks after opening because I didn't use it much I imagine. Not very comfortable to hold. I got it as a "wow look they make one smaller than .5!" novelty and had my fun. Wouldn't use this for daily writing, if you want something thin I recommend a Japanese made extra-fine nib fountain pen, which gets down to about .3 without the ink ball trouble. Plus the refills are easier and wider variety of color.

My favorite pen
I really like these pens. They write very cleanly and last for quite a while. No issues with bleeding or excessive ink and I love the different pen body color options while sticking to black ink.

It is a superb pen but Unfortunately for me the pen wrote a little scratchy. That could be just a one-off but I sent it back. I believe that most people will find this a wonderful pen so I wouldn't be put off by this review. I think in my situation it was purely a one-off situation.

Its not a regular ball pen and you will surely be disappointed if you buy it expecting the performance of a regular pen. About me - I invest in stationery and buy unique products. I like the experience of getting new (& less known) pens and trying them out. About Uniball - Uniball is the world leader is pens and you may have used pens by this company. If not, please buy them and try - they are a delight to write with. About this pen - its a niche product with very fine tip (0.28 mm). Therefore the USP of this pen is its fine writing. And that's what you should buy it for. The weight is well distributed, the bottom being heavier that the top. And its very comfortable to hold. Pros Writers very smooth, like butter. The fine tip is a delight for those looking for a unique writing experience. Uniball quality shines through - as I said, they are world leaders in pens Cons The pen writes best at a particular angle; so you have to adjust accordingly. Like many ball pens, it takes a day or two to catch up and become smooth. Before that, you require patience. After that, its a joy to write! Since its a niche product, refill availability will be a problem. I plan to buy some from Amazon and stock up. Price is high - but its a niche product, not your regular 10-rupaye-wala-ball-pen-available-at-nukkad-shop. So if you know what you are getting into, buy it, give it a few days and enjoy the ride! Imagine the pen being an orchid - requires care and watering and will wither away in harsh conditions; but when it blooms, its a joy to watch! Hope the review will help make you an informed purchase decision. This pen is not for everyone!

I have always loved fine point pens but this one is my new favourite. It’s such a joy to write with — comfortable, smooth ink flow, clean lines. It’s a real pleasure to use and I am already looking to purchase more.
