NuPro Fire Slim Standing Case (Previous Generation - 5th), Turquoise

This was part of the bundle that I purchased with my new Kindle fire. It was easy to snap the Kindle in. And I feel with how I use it there is enough protection. I love the flap and how it is able to fold into a stand. The color is true to the image as well. I would not feel comfortable dropping my Kindle from a great distance but, like I said for my knee i I would not feel comfortable dropping my Kindle from a great distance but, like I said, for my casual use it's perfect. Also, the color is true to the picture.

It works great. Easy to use, the stand is a nifty little gimmick. Pros? Fits snugly to the unit. Doesn't make a small unit a big clunky unit. Stand works like a charm. It snaps onto the unit easily. Pops off just as easily. No unexpected issues. Cons? The stand part is covered in plastic. I can see it cracking at the folds over time. I'll update my review later with any issues - or maybe just to say it's still great.Only reason I gave it a 4 is because the stand is plastic. We'll see how that works. Later!

Absolutely gorgeous case. Feels amazing (sturdy, and lightweight). I would recommend this case to anyone who owns a kindle fire. What i love the most is that the case does not make your tablet very fat, which can be bulky and inconveniet. I am very satisfied with my product.

Love this case for my Kindle Fire. I received this case as part of a gift and fell in love with it, my favorite color. It fits perfectly, it seems like it is really durable. It was really easy to put on my Kindle. I just received it two days ago so its fairly new. I have a leather case for another Kindle and out doesn't fit that great. The kindle slides in it s and moves, this case the kindle snaps into place and doesnt move around. Extremely happy with it. Would definitely buy another one if I ever need one.

I rather wish there was a way to give a half-star rating because I feel like four stars are too many and three stars are not quite enough. This case works great as a case, and it's very slim and sleek... it works less well as a stand. Over time, it's ability to remain folded to support the Kindle Fire might improve, but so far I find that the case slips pretty regularly, especially if there is any movement whatsoever (even a bold air current) in the vicinity of the Kindle. I don't prop it frequently, though, so it works great to provide screen protection when the Kindle is not in use.

We have had these for quite a while now. Two of them. Very durable for our rough kids. They do not help stand very well. It can prop it a little but doesn’t hold after a while.

This cover is crap. Way over priced, should be in the $6-7 range. The biggest problem is the material that lays against the screen. It is a textured rubber that leaves a residue and smudges all over the screen so you have to clean the screen every time you open the case. I tried cleaning the case and the screen thoroughly before closing the cover to verify that earlier residue wasn't just getting pushed around. Nope, the cover itself is the problem. Unfortunately because this tablet is so new there aren't a lot of options for cases/covers. This case would get 3-4 stars if it had a microfiber material on the inside laying against the screen, and 5 stars if it was then priced at about $12 after the material change.

Bought this case to go with my husbands new Kindle Fire. It fits well and looks really nice.The SD slot is covered by the case but really don't feel this is a big deal as let's face it who removes their SD card frequently.It states in the description that the case will stand up by itself, unfortunately this is not true.Folded the front cover as directed in the instructions which came with it and then leaned the Kindle up against it, it fell flat.It will stand somewhat when turned around with the folded bit to the top but doesn't provide a good viewing angle.Have a small drawing easel which husband can sit the Kindle in to watch shows while doing other stuff but really wish it would stand without needing extra assistance as I really wanted to get myself one in purple.

This is a smart case for my tablet - useful and keeps the tablet safe from harm. Very good and would recommend.

Llevo varios meses con ella y no he tenido ningún problema, después de bastante uso, caídas, golpes, etc ahí sigue, sin problemas. Muy buena funda!
