An Inca Account of the Conquest of Peru

Having read pages from all the top scholars of the Inca Conquest this was an interesting read.It's starts with an Introduction by Ralph Bauer who translated and transcribed this edition. He details well the manner in which it was done and sets up for an interesting read.The translation itself reads well and although there is a lot of detail and certainly a sway towards the Spannish view (as one would expect) it provides a great insight and at times interesting balance to what the usual scholars say.Glad I read it - took no time at all.
