Nova Nutritions L-Lysine 1000 mg - 180 Tablets

For myself, I use it for cold sores and shingles. As soon as I feel a cold sores starting starting I take a tablet every two hours until it starts feeling better and then decrease to fewer tablets until my cold sore feels like it is leaving me and hold the amount there until healed. It also controls shingles! Again, for myself, I need two 1000mg a day, one morning and night to keep shingles away. If I feel shingles coming on (and if you’ve had them you know that pain!) I increase my lysine to three or four a day and shingles retreats. They never develop unless I ignore the warning pains and twice over the last 20+ years I did get shingles in that case I took 1000mg every two hours until I could tell it was retreating and then took as needed until they were gone. I won’t take the vaccine because it is the chicken pox vaccine that causes shingles!! Who knows what the shingles vaccine will cause in the future years? I tried the doctors antibiotics the first time I had shingles and after months of the shingles kept returning I researched shingles looking for a better way and this has worked for me for 20+ years. Everyone is different but for me I avoid the medication route as long as I possibly can. I am 77 years old. Just saying ……

have not had any cold sores since I started taking 3 a day since April very very impressed by the results so glad I finally found a preventive measures that truly work instead of getting one and trying to cover it with all kinds of products that don't work. give them a try you wont be disappointed. what have you got to lose one bottle lasts me two months that 16 cents a day to not have a cold sore. the winter will be the real test I got 6 sore in 4 months last winter so I researched it and found these

I have purchased this brand before but this time it arrived defective. The foil seal that should be adhered to the bottle rim was not adhered at all. As you can see in the photo the defective seal is still lodged in the lid. When I opened the bottle I had no seal in place to verify the product had not been tampered with. I started to file a return request only to find it cannot be returned. I will have to throw it away and accept the loss.

It's okay, but i don't like all of the ingredients in it. It was quick delivery and great seller!

As with all Lisine I've been able to find, tablets are huge. They do, however, work well to prevent cold sore outbreaks, so I continue to choke them down. Too bad it doesn't occur to some manufacturer to made them half size, require 2 pills to fulfill the dose. I don't usually have trouble swallowing pills, but need to pay attention before I throw these puppies down.

I began taking this supplement after I had 5 cold sores in a year. When I take it daily, I don't have cold sores much at all, and if I do, they don't erupt as brutally as before taking it.

So hard for me to swallow and I wonder if they break down . Put in water and a week later barely dissolved. Sorry
