I have purchased lift chars for decades because of childhood polio.This chair is by far the most comfortable I have found.It has held up well under my 300 pounds of weight.I use it throughout the day and sleep in it at night.I have used it for 4 years and will buy another if this one ever breaks.

Worked well for my father in law. He is 120 pounds about 5'10, 81 years old. It isnt cushy soft, which actaully worked well. Its not so firm to be uncomfortable though. The motion is smooth, but slow. He has a little teouble with so many options on the remote, as his memory is not good, but the repetition is helping and he is enjoying. It is a heavy chair, took 2 of us, but we set it up easily. It is steady. We had to adjust the front feet to the max height, as the footpeice would catch on the thick carpet. But once adjusted propely we had no problems. I was very worried, but has turned out to be a very good purchase. It was delivered on time and no problems.

This chair would be great if it worked properly. However, it arrived defective. It doesn't recline. See my seller feedback for trying to get the problem resolved.

I got this for my 97 year old mother. She really likes it. Controls are simple, large and brightly lit and she can manage the controller easily. The ability to independently adjust the back as well as the foot allows her to find a comfortable position. She is petite, about 120 pounds, and finds this chair sufficiently padded and comfortable.

I’ve bought 2 of these for my sister in law, she has a “get out of the cold” place in Alabama and a “get out of the heat” place in Michigan! She needs the help getting up and these have really improved her quality of life!Delivery was great on both purchases too!

I bought this chair to assist me after my open heart surgery. It reclines quietly and I am confident that the full range of positions will help me remain comfortable during my recovery. The cord is quite long (approximately 12 feet?) which is very convenient, and the unit requires two 9-volt batteries to operate the chair during a power outage. I did have to Febreze the chair upon arrival to overcome a very slight burlap smell, and after a second application, the smell was all but gone. This was the lowest priced chair I found, but definitely not the lowest quality! In my opinion, you are not going to find a better chair with so many positions, as well as a lift feature, for less. As a side note, the brown color fabric is a bit lighter that what appears in the picture.

Does everything it is supposed to do and it is comfortable. It is for my Mom with limited mobility and she is pleased with it.

Purchased this for my parents-in-law who are needing a bit more assistance these days. It looks good and works great! Delivery was smooth...I had it delivered to my house to avoid confusion. The driver helped me load it into my front hall so I could save it for the weekend to take over to their house. To transport it, I opened the box and took out the 2 pieces - back and base. Easier for two people to move around.
