First of all, it has ethernet port which is what I needed for a high speed LAN connection. It has two HDMI ports which lets the user enjoy having two extra displays while charging the laptop using the USB-C charging port. Two USB ports, one additional USB-C port and two SD slots make it a perfect compact docking station.

Where to start? 1. Delivery - Expect quick delivery aqs item seems to be stocked regionally 2. Cost - About medium high for a hub but low for a dock. 3. Packaging - Box is strong enough to survive Amazon packaging and transport. 4. Documentation - really great info in the mini Documents. Both an instruction manual and a FAQ brochure. Besure to read both to understand device use. 5. Features - Everything you could have wanted. 6. Fit - I have my MacBook Pro in a hard case that interferes with other HUBs that fit flush with the Macs side. But his hub has perfect spacing providing a perfect fit with the Mac. And boy is it secure once plugged in. Metal casing adds strength.I consider this HUB to be more of a mini-DOCK than just an every day hub. It has everything I need. It is now my main travel hub with my MacBook Pro.The two HDMI ports work well providing crisp and clear images at 1080p. I did not test with 4K but I would bet that is just as good.The two USB 3.0 ports work as the are supposed to and were able to sustain transfer speeds to external SSD and HD drives.The two memory card ports - SD and TF work well as they should.Ethernet provided as much band width as my cabling could use.Add a Power Supply and you have a mini-DOCK.The USB-C port really performed wellAll in all a great hub. (Please forgive the mess in the pictures as we have been stuck at home for a while)

This docking station has great promise, but it is not there yet. I connected two monitors to it yesterday and one monitor worked fine and the other one had a distorted picture. When I changed the plugs for the monitor, then the other one was distorted, so it appears to be the port and not the monitor or cord. Today, I connected two monitors and they worked perfectly. I left it plugged in, walked away for several hours and then came back and the same port had a distorted picture again (see picture above). Because it is a picture, you can only see the lines and not the shaking. All of the other ports work as advertised, but it was really the two connected HDMI screens that I was after and that is not yet consistent.I contacted the seller and they promised to send out a new one. I will update this review once I receive it and have a chance to test it out.UPDATE: I received the replacement (quite quickly I might add) and am thrilled that it works perfectly! This is the most cost effective and consistent way to get two monitors (well three if I count my laptop) working simultaneously. I have been waiting for a solution like this for a long time. I am hoping it will be long lasting and durable!

Over the years, I have collected several adapters for my Macbook Pro. I started with the Apple adapter that enabled an external monitor and external USB storage. I added another for travel that could manage USB devices and my camera's SD cards. I added another for an office setup for network (Cat5) access.... You get the idea.Finally, I have one that will do all of it - this adapter manages two external monitors, has slots for memory cards, can connect the external power, has multiple USB ports and a network cable adapter - whatever the situation requires. One use that I was not expecting, but is significant: it works well with my home office setup, where the cables dangle off of the raised Macbook. My previous adapters came out at a 90 degree angle from the Macbook, and I was always concerned that the cable - or the Macbook - would be damaged. Because this device seats in two USB-C ports and is flush to the Macbook, it is much sturdier and safer to use.This is the first third-party adapter that can pass through power for my Macbook Pro. The adapter does get warm, but not so much that I am concerned about touching it or what it is resting on. Before I purchased the device, I was concerned because only one of the USB-C ports will accept power. But, the port is clearly identified for power, and I have no trouble connecting power to the correct USB-C port.We are still in the COVID lockdown here, so I have not tried this device in all the situations I would normally experience. I can confirm it manages multiple external monitors, the SD, USB-3 and USB-C ports work well, and the network adapter works well on my home 100 Base-T network. It will definitely be in my travel kit when we are back to some version of normal.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It has enough number and type of ports to suit anything you might want to connect to your Macbook and it is effective at it. It doesn't heat up and its minimalist design and color is a nice touch. Recommend!

In short:I like this product. It has all the ports that the average person would use.In length:Overall, this product is well-made and has a sturdy feel. The various ports should fulfill the needs of 99% of people out there as it charges your Macbook while expanding your port options (as listed in my photo). I do have to note that the hub doesn't fit on my Macbook in one direction due to my hard case, but fits flush going the other direction (like the advertised photos and my review photos).I would have liked to have USB-C monitor output capabilities though. Again, I think as of 2020, most people are using HDMI for their external monitor/TV needs anyway and this hub should fulfill the needs of most people. I personally like to use a display-port to USB-C cable for my monitor at home and does not work with this hub.

This is such a useful product. I highly recommend it for people having to link numerous peripherals devices with just one USB C input type. I own a Mac book pro 13,3 inch mid 2017 and its compatible and one step of connection – just plug it in.It looks great, very lightweight, ideal for organizing cables, and it works very well with no delay on transfer speeds! For me it works flawlessly with my two HDMI screens with high resolution. The most important part for me is that I can connect and disconnect all my devices and take away my laptop with just one move. It optimizes the work environment. Excellent.

I’ve been looking at a USB C hub for a while now and there is so much on offer that I initially wasn’t sure how to select the best product for my MAC. Being a real fan of Apple products and their beauty, I wanted a stylish product that satisfies my needs in the home office whilst being slick and aesthetic.I’ve connected my screens effortlessly and there are so many more options to add products. Being a passionate photographer made it important for me to be able to sync the SD cards. I knew the product would change my working life but I’m now able to work with my photography projects even better as I don’t have to connect the camera itself anymore and instead use the SD reader.Overall, I am super happy. I don’t usually write reviews but this usb c hub really convinced me to make the effort - hopefully it’s helpful for anyone looking for a seriously powerful usb hub with some added extras that make all the difference.

I got this last year to use with my new Mac M1. Sadly I did not really get round to testing it properly until after the Amazon returns window had closed. The network port does not pick up an IP address unless you unplug the doc from the Mac even although it recognises that the ethernet cable is plugged in. An external monitor that works when connected directly to the Mac does not work on the dock USB C port. An external CD drive will not write CDs even although it works when plugged into the Mac. Too many issues so I have stopped using.

THIS WORKS!Unlike many that say they can run multiple monitors AND charge at the same time this delivers.3 screens, iPhone USB C charging and MacBook aid.

Was working fine for one week but one of the HDMI ports has just stopped working - would recommend another brand.
