Gentle use is rewarded
The media could not be loaded. I’m an adult user and have had this ball for about a month now. Initially it was very hard; almost like it contained wet sand. Squeezing it just a little would compact it and you would have to smack or roll it (as instructions stated) to get it into a ball shape again.I knead it more than I squeeze it, usually for 30-60 minutes a night before bed. After about a month of this something with the ball has changed. Less moisture, maybe the actual ball material is stretching, my partner asked if I was grinding the sand down to a finer grain! Whatever it is, the sand feels looser, moves more freely, and can be squeezed more without compacting. I no longer have to smack it at all to loosen the sand. This is good for me because it’s what I originally wanted.Zero leaks and no sign of holes with what I would consider regular, gentle use over the course of a month. I have the purple and pink ball but the purple stripes have begun to wear away. Also, the changed nature of the ball means it no longer holds a ball shape. Neither of these things is a big deal to me. I will definitely be buying another one to have a dedicated place in my office.Edit: After almost a year, this item (and the second I bought) are still in one piece. I included a video so you can see the softer "squish" after extended use (it will not arrive this soft!) as well as the way the paint fades. Also worth noting, the exterior of the ball is a little sticky and tends to pick up fuzz and the like. I rinsed mine off before taking the video. Still happy with my purchase!

I can't believe how much I love this thing!
My initial reaction to this was "why is my Stress Ball flat and lumpy?" My second reaction was "OMG this feels so weird, I hate it!" But than I just couldn't put it down, and honestly this is hands down the BEST stress/fidget item I have ever found. I think some people might have a hard time with the texture of it, but I absolutely love it. I'm getting these for everyone I know who needs or wants a stress ball!

Destroyed by little girls
One of the worst toys I’ve ever bought. I don’t expect even “tough” toys to last forever, but these didn’t make it a week before breaking.Once they break, they leak sand all over the house and it gets in the beds.Terrible construction. We tried six. They all break in the exact same place.

Only lasted a few days
The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to get this sand ball to help with my stress and anxiety and it was working great for a few days until it got a hole on the bottom where they close in the sand. Really sucks…definitely not worth $7 for a few days. I really wish it would have lasted longer. And my nails are short so I know that didn’t cause it.

Great
Bought this for my daughter that has anxiety. When she gets worked up she likes to pull on it and squish it. It has a lot of stretch and it feels like it has sand in it so it is relaxing to squish it.

They’re all hard as brick not soft and squishy as advertised.
I have bought at least 8 of these things. The first one I got was perfect and squishy, stretchy, everything it was advertised to be. So I thought I’d get one more. I have ended up buying 8 more in attempt to find another one that’s squishy and stretchy. ALL 8 of them are over filled and hard as a ROCK. I mean hard!! My grown husband using all of his strength can barely get some of them to “squish” and none stretch. I was getting these in the advice from my therapist to get some stress balls with sand or something similar to sand to work my hand strength. How many of these does a person have to order to get 1 that is squishy and stretchy as advertised?? I guess I got lucky with my first purchase in getting the nice perfect squish and stretchy ball. I know the 8 balls that I have now are useless. Of course to get a refund I have to send all of them back which I will do. However I’m homebound recovering from open heart surgery so now I have to ask a friend or family to come over and grab the useless stress balls and take them to a UPS store to send the crappy stuff back for me.This is a huge waste of my money and time. All I wanted was to get a second stress ball so I could use one in each hand to therapeutically work on my hands to keep them moving. This is ridiculous.
