Maybe try wrapping it properly
I just got this today. I bought it for my teen daughter for Xmas to go with the instapot/air fryer she’s getting for Xmas also. It looks fine but I’m more concerned with the fact that it arrived completely open. It came just tossed inside a box with another item I ordered. It bothers me that they didn’t even bother to put it in a plastic bag at least. It’s a miracle it arrived in decent condition. It was literally just the book inside a big box, no box of its own. It could’ve gotten ripped, bent or marked in. The recipes are more appetizers and are very short. It’s fine for a beginner, but not for large meals, so if that’s what you’re wanting don’t get this. It’s for beginners as it claims.

Less than specific instructions
I bought this particular book because it was specifically named the "Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer Cookbook" and that is the exact model I just purchased and am looking for recipes for. I was quite disappointed in the very cheap paper it is printed on, as the ink smudges off on your fingers. There are multiple spelling and grammatical errors, making me feel as this was not a particularly well edited book, and there were VERY few photographs. But THE MOST disappointing thing is how vague the recipes are. I was hoping since it was specific to this model appliance, that is would say thigs like "use the saute' button, or use this accessory in the pot first, then add this or that piece. VERY few recipes are that specific. Most recipes give the ingredients list, and then will say "cook for 15 minutes" or "cook on 350 for 10 minutes" or something similar. As there are a multitude of buttons, and features that you could "cook" with, I wanted specifics. Indeed, it seems that this book was written purposely vague and just the covers switched out with different makers and manufacturer models on the front. I went to Sam's Club and bought a beautifully illustrated and specific cookbook with MUCH more details, at half the cost.

Easy to use, but the air fryer is too small
I've had loads of fun playing with the insta pot. Having already had a pressure cooker, this one was a cinch to use (make sure to buy the accessories ). It was my first introduction to an air fryer and while I like the things it can do, the basket is much too small and to avoid overcrowding the food you have to stand around making many batches. I'd like to buy a bigger air fryer, but the insta pot takes up all my counter room.

Phony cookbook. Lacks important specific instructions. The author doesn't appear to exist.
I wish I had returned this when I had the chance. It is one of the worst cookbooks I have ever read. The picture for "Mini Turkey Pies"--one of the first recipes--is of what looks almost exactly like an Egg McMuffin. (It may be that this is just meant to be the photo for the Breakfast section, but it still contributes strongly to the haphazard and fraudulent feeling of this book.) There is a big disconnect between recipe instructions and the actual buttons on the new Instant Pot Duocrisp + Air Fryer. There are no step-by-step photographs. For the "Fried Whole Chicken" recipe the instructions read as, "Mix the seasoning and rub a little amount on the chicken. Pour the broth inside the air fryer basket and place the chicken. Cook for 25 minutes at 400F. ..." Okay, "Cook" is not one of the buttons. Would that be the Broil, Air Fry, Roast or Bake button? Too many recipes instruct "Cook" without specifying which setting to use. I do not usually leave very sour reviews, but I feel ripped off, even at $2.99 for this e-book.In reading the many five-star reviews for this book, after the fact, I think many of them are phony. The English is not natural and they are grandiose in their praise, which is absurd for a book of this low caliber. I could not find any info on the author "Noah White"

Quick and Easy cooking
I received this cookbook as a gift about two days ago and have been reading over the recipes. Wide variation of recipes great for any seasons and none are very technical or difficult. This recipe book is full of amazing advice and great basics on using air fryers and how to operate air fryers at the perfect temperature. I am looking forward to creating each recipe! The book is overall visually very appealing. The detail of the instructions is crystal clear and in-depth. Overall this is a great one to purchase especially if you are looking for instant and innovative recipes. The photography, ingredients, tips have already inspired me to get back into my kitchen more regulary. As a lover of less fried food, I am so excited for another round of recipes from Noah and this book does not disappoint. The complexity of flavours combined with simplicity of these recipes make this book a true standout from other cookbooks on my shelf.

Confusing
Ok so I think I'm missing something lol. Got an instant pot duo first time user. Firstly i didn't realize it was just air frying recipes and then when I started reading them I wasn't even sure it was for air frying lol. I tried the Greek chicken and potatoes. Looked easy enough except my instant pot doesn't have a 500 deg setting. I think the more I use it it will get more clear or I will just improvise. Was really hoping for more explanations since it said for beginners. Overall not a total loss I will use it. The internet has lots of tips. Probably would go that route more.
