I tend to prefer my shorts roomy so I got an XL. For reference I am 5’3” 178lb.Returning for a large.

Love the fit.

I own multiple pairs of these shorts. They’re awesome for being around water because they dry incredibly fast. Very comfy, good for any occasion.

Love the color, love that it’s water resistant. Hate that it immediately wrinkles and just looks sloppy. I wish they were more flowy.

I’ve recently lost a lot of weight and needed to replace my long shorts. These are so comfortable and fit great. The inseam is perfect for my new smaller thighs that still show a bit of stretch marks while also not feeling like granny shorts (I’m 41). These will be perfect for our upcoming cruise since they’re thin and quick drying.I wear a 14 in pants and bought these in a large. They aren’t loose in the waist, but the XL would be too baggy.

I bought these shorts when I was looking for breathable, lightweight shorts for walking in humid weather. Extra large was a good fit, and I loved the color options, but they’re just a little too short and ride up between my thighs when I’m walking.

I love these shorts. The material is really light, the pockets are nice and the 5" is the perfect length.

Awesome shorts! Super comfy and breathable and quick drying. Perfect for camping and hiking. Mid thigh length and has a coloured draw string which was not shown in the pictures but is a nice surprise. I will be buying another pair.

I ordered these shorts in black and am very happy with them so far. The fit is quite good and comfortable so I recommend ordering based on the size chart. They are a little baggier than pictured but that's great for doing outside work. The fabric is thin and light and perfect for hot summer days. It is also the type of material that dries very quickly. I already ordered a second pair in blue and am considering getting a third pair. I recommend these shorts and would give them 5 stars so far. As long as they hold up to wear and laundering for the next year I'll be happy.Update: It's about 6 weeks or so since I got these shorts and I am still very happy with them. They wash and dry on the regular cycle very well and do not require any special care. I mentioned that the shorts are a bit baggy. This is actually a good thing as the material has no stretch at all. I find them comfortable and would look at buying more shorts as well as other items from this brand. I've never been a Columbia wear person but this year ordered shorts, a jacket and a skort (on sale of course, being a bargain hunter) and am thrilled with them all. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
