Beautiful colored illustrations. Fantastic ideas with step by steps instructions. I wish that every single Montessori activity could be printed out just like this book! I am SO happy that I found it!

This book very nicely lays out how hands-on materials in a Montessori classroom lead to the development of mathematical understanding in children. The book has many illustrations and photos of these hands-on materials along with explanations of how mathematics problems are approached using these materials.Note that you can obtain the book directly from the publisher and avoid paying the outrageous prices that the used book sellers are trying to get away with.
