good story line & they will get stronger as the other books arrive
I enjoy the caring & thoughtfulness, of the Dragon. The concern & patience but there is still many very human responses happening. They are not all for themselves. I would have liked a little more connection of the brothers & what they are doing at this moment, but I think that will come in the next few books, once they settle back in to their lives. We have the Werewolfs but I think the Vampires will show up somewhere in the next few books. Also other shifters can come into things. A Hawk or Panther. Can't wait for the direction of the Dragons work life, to turn up. Will the dragons help humans or hide. Will they be of value to the town & the people? What are these Dragons good at, besides the weather [air]? How they make their talents work for everyone. Their difficulties in learning to live after 200years of evolution. From horse & cart to fast cars & space travel.

Cursed Dragon, curious woman
There will be spoilersWhen Gail cut her hand she triggered the release of a centuries old curse and released the dragons. Blaine knows she is his fated mate and sets out to win her affections. When an old enemy uses Gail to once again trap Blaine and his brothers it seems all hope is lost.Great book. Wonderful plot. Love the characters. BUT WTF Gail? Your childhood friend doesn't want to hurt YOU, but he clearly and explicitly says he wants to kill your fated mate. And you don't care? Noone needs love that fickle. I'm sorry, but if you scheme to use me to lure my man into a trap and kill him, no amount of friendly history will save you from me.

She is obssessed with a history written in pictures but she didn't know they held her future.
This is the first of a series of stories about dragons and their mates. Gail is an expert in cave drawings because they have fascinated her from childhood, especially those in the caves near her home. When she is injured while in the caves she unlocks a spell and awakens a dragon, who is her fated mate. Blaine wakes his brothers and regains their prior home before he sets off to claim his mate. Together they must find the reason for the dragon's confinement and find ways to protect the dragon's secret while neutralizing the threat to their freedom. Blaine and Gail are fully developed and the secondary characters give glimpses into their individual traits as well. The plot is innovative and the action is fast-paced.

Strong connection
Blaine and his brothers were put to sleep and locked in a cave not to be released until the blood of one of their mates is spilled in the cave. Gail has always been drawn to the caves. She cuts herself one day and a few days later a stranger strolls into the bar she works at. First look and she is drawn to him. Can they make a relationship work? Will the past rear it’s ugly head and tear them apart? Oh, did I mention that Blaine is a dragon?

Stormy Love
A steamy love story between a dragon shifter and a lovely young woman. Who would have thought you could find your live mate by cutting your hand in a cave? Interesting characters and plot. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Good story but characters are one dimensional
While I enjoyed the story and would happily follow the storyline for all of the dragon brothers, I’ll unlikely do it. Characters are extremely one dimensional and the dialogue is stilted. In part, that’s due to the absence of normal conversational tone, using “you are” rather than “you’re,” for example. Certainly, someone who makes an effort to write a story deserves credit for their work. That’s only one part of the equation, however. The other half of the equation is writing something that the readers will wholly enjoy. That’s hard to do without good editing and an objective eye.

Wonderful Dragon Romance
I liked the plain speaking style of this author and didn't have to guess what she meant when she said or described something. I've read dragon romances before, but this gal gets to the point. Her explanation of dragon kind and their rituals and emotions were well done. Her human heroine, Gail, was no nonsense as well and I liked that.

I don't know what happened
The book started out so great. The dialogue seemed natural. Then the modern people started sounding like they were from the 1800s, too. It got so bad that I debated finishing. The actual story was interesting, but I don't think I'll read anymore of this series right now. I don't know how an editor could miss the stilted the conversations. It's like there were no contractions after a certain punt.

One down
One down and the rest to follow. It was a very good book, intriguing and a lot different than other dragon books. It was nice to read about one in particular and waiting for the rest.
