I strung all 66 feet of the two strings on my 7 foot tall patio board fence, wrapping the wire tightly around one-inch brass brads I nailed into the stringers. It's about 17 feet of fence. The installation is almost invisible during daytime. After sundown, they work perfectly, and the patio that was dark at night now looks like party town when I switch these babies on. I didn't have any problem with tangles, but I could see that if I didn't take a fairly long, careful time to unroll the strings to plan installation, then they could get tangled. In the end, I had no problem, and even a couple of crimps were easily straightened out before final wrapping of the wire around the nails. I am surprised by the strength and versatility of the copper wire and how easily these tightly wrap around the nail shank. The timer is said to be an 8-hour timer on the directions, so I have no use for the timer as I never need to leave these on that long. So far, after a week of turning them on a couple/three hours each night, they show no decrease in brightness, so the battery life appears to be acceptable, to me at least. I use the bargain Amazon AA batteries. The battery case looks fairly waterproof, but to be sure I slipped both cases into one-quart plastic freezer bags for further protection. I am one hundred percent satisfied with this purchase so far, and the results of my application look professional to my eye. For 20 bucks my patio now looks like I paid 20 times that amount to have an electrician install an expensive lighting system that makes my main warm-weather party space welcoming and festive.

After purchasing the twinkle lights that don't last long and have 4 tiny screws and each uses 2 - 2032 batteries (which were horrible because I used 18 for my mantle = 32 batteries and were difficult to deal with because they didn't last a week). I purchased these. Can I tell you that the 2 pack of 100 completely covered my mantle and I haven't had to change the batteries yet! It's been weeks and I turn them on every evening for several hours. The remotes are a godsend because I don't have to go squirreling around trying to find the battery pack to turn them off. There are 8 types of motions also. So very happy with this purchase!! They do look blue in the photo but are bright white in person. 10 stars after dealing with the others.

These would be ok for straight runs I am sure. They are relatively bright. The wire though appearing fragil, is quite durable. The major downside to lights like these is the wire "crimps " easily. You will spend more time untangling or uncrimping them, than you will applying them. I was wrapping metal crossbeams on a pergola and it was a nightmare. Most if not all battery powered options are probably made like these. I will remove the one set I have applied, and just run an extension cord to the pergola and run regular LED Christmas lights. Now, if you decide to lay the entire string out before you start, then you may have better luck.

I didn't like the way the items were packaged. no protection and in an already slighly torn box. these are electrical items and should have been in bubble wrap at least.as you can see from the pictures, there is a sturdy plastic battery box that opens and locks with latches, and contains a trigger switch and circuit board(?) which I assume is where the mechanism for the on off, various options, and brighter/dimmer options are controlled in concert with the remote controls. Each light set worked well when I tested them. (You need to provide your own batteries... remember this if this is any sort of gift... ) I ran through everything with the remotes, from on to off and everything inbetween. The remotes do have plastic tabs to prevent the remotes being live until you choose them to be, and I found that the tab actually easily slips back in. so if you plan on not using them for a while... you can save those from running out.There is also a list of the various options for the lites on the battery box attached to the lights. a soft plastic rubber button on the lid can be depressed to choose from static on, through all the options and off again. I have included pictures so show the lights on, what they look like off, as well as images of the battery box, remote and instructions. After imediate irritation that there was no real instructions to explain it to me, I realised it was all a matter of looking at the remote and the battery box and I figured the rest out in seconds. I do like these, and am considering buying more for gift purposes. The ones I have will be used along with decorative metal candle lanterns with cutouts that will allow these lights to shine through beautifully.

I put them in my Mexican pitcher to light up the bottom of my curio cabinet. ❤️

You have to be super close to the tree for the remote to work we have our tree on our patio because of our cats. Just be careful when taking them out the box because you will have a tangle disaster and spend an hour detangling them. But super bright !

Wishing it had purple and other colorsThis only has green blue red and white when I think multi color I assumed it would be all colors

This works really great. But the shortest time to run is six hours; when I only need about three. Way too many batteries to dispose of. DO NOT BUY cheap Dollar Store batteries that only last four hours. They are filling up the landfills and leaching into our water. PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT. WHAT ARE WE LEAVING FOR OUR CHILDREN?? Cheap does not pay!!!!!

Muy bueno, funcionan a la perfección, el control reposto funciona bien, pero hay que estar muy cerca de la caja de comando para que se cambien las funciones o prender y apagar. El brillo es muy bueno; es 2 en 1 porque puedes tener luz de color o luz blanca (frío) en una misma serie.

I loved the brightness and quality of these lights at first and the remote worked great. But after a month they stopped working with new batteries! And the new set I bought did not work at all what a waste of $45.

These are beautiful, many fun different settings, easy to install anywhere with the flexible wire. As mentioned by others, does go through batteries pretty fast. Our solution was to use rechargeable batteries.

These twinkle lights were perfect, they are super long, have a very nice bright white glow, there were comments that they dont last very long, however we forgot to turn them off before leaving the venue the night of our wedding and they were still on the next day when we came to clean up, they were on for about 20 hours at that point, highly recommend these lights
