Worked for my Gas Dryer Kenmore 500 Series
I got 3 of them and just needed 1 so 2 will be the spares for the next 20 years (i hope so as the original one last for more than 10 years 😀). They are exact same like the OEM one so swapping out the bad one was simple. It took me less than 5 minutes and i got the working dryer again.

Works well for a lower price
Only needed one but got three for less than one on another site. Not too hard to install but that really depends on which dryer model rather than the switch. Don't know what "stretch" means in the ratings for a dryer door switch.These have both NO (Normally open) and NC (Normally closed) contacts. One turns on the light when the door is open, the other allows power to the drum when the door is closed. Some dryers may not have a light, but if this switch physically fits it can still be used. You need to determine which set of wires should hook up to the drum circuit and which to the light if so equipped.
