If you’re 6.0 diesel power stroke, needs a water plug. I’d recommend this one time and time again. I’ve seen a lot of guys saying it gets corrosive. Or comes with him a little bit of Schmautz on it. I got mine and it had a little bit of black dots on it but if you’re from the snow belt, it’s gonna corrode and rust out anyways it’s still worth it!!

Direct fit. Makes emptying the HFCM much easier than in the past using the allen key.

This a genuine Ford oem updated part. During my last scheduled fuel filter service I noticed how loose the original plug had become, usually these are a pain to remove with the Allen key, and it was actually not even threading back in since the corrosion had eaten through the threads. I'm lucky it didn't just fall out while going down the road. This plug is just what this system needed, it's a heavy duty brass plug with a modification to stop it from falling out while draining and they added the larger outside face for easy servicing. I have a 07 F250 4x4 and no absolutely no issues installing this with my front drive shaft installed. Took all of about 2 minutes to replace and we are back in business. (just watch out for the quart of diesel that pours out when your first remove it)

Huge upgrade for a 6.0. I have a 2005 and the old plug was decayed and the hex was stripped. This will solve your problem. Very easy to use

Wow, what a simple product that will save time and money! After talking with a buddy who had to remove his entire fuel filter to drill out his stripped plug, I invested a few bucks to make sure I didn’t have the same issue. My old plug was internally corroded and just a matter of time before I had to do what my buddy did. With the knurl, no tools are needed and water can be drained in a matter of seconds. I highly recommend this simple solution to all 6.0 owners!

Had to cut the end off of it but made it work

The plug works great after I cut the brass T off the plug. I wasn’t able it install the plug with the T on and it just wouldn’t fit. I just used a hacksaw to remove the T.
