I was afraid it would be a huge tangle of strings, but actually it didn't get tangled as I unfolded it and looped it over the top of the fence slats to support it. I'm only going to use it once, but after a season, it looks like I could use it again if I wanted to take the time to carefully remove the now dead plants. I bought some more and strung it up at my community garden plot to hold melons, squash and beans and it worked well there too. I supported it with three 8-foot 1x2 boards into which I drilled a hole near the top. I buried the boards (now poles) about a foot deep in the ground, then staked a 1/4 nylon rope on one side, ran the rope through the holes at the top, hanging the net from it as I went, then staked the rope on the other end. For the beans, I also stuck some bamboo bean poles into the ground and connected them to the net at the top. It sagged a bit from the weight of the melons and squashes, but it stayed up for the whole season and I had a nice harvest.
