Great buy!
It took a bit longer than expected to arrive, but an amazing addition to our patio doors! Holds the sheer curtains very well.

Holds a surprising amount of weight.
I've had this pole for at least a year and have had substantial weight on it. I used this to create more hanging space for all my jumpers, cardigans and dresses in a tiny closet (similar to an airing cuboard). It is sturdy! Now I've moved homes, I'm back to buy more to create my own walk in wardrobe!

Looks good quality
I haven't actually installed this yet, as I'm waiting for some bathroom work to be completed first. However, I have undone parcel, examined contents and 'tested' mechanism and all seems fine. Product looks good quality, though obviously I'm unable to comment at this stage on it's durability.

Utterley useless waste of time, money, design, and logistics.
Do NOT buy this product if you want to be able to hang clothes, or anything with more than a t-shirt's worth of weight. The product cannot be fixed between walls of anything because the design is so poorly thought out, that as soon as the ends touch either side, and the slightest pressure to tighten, causes the FIXED ends to move as well, causing the ends to walk away from wherever you try to tighten them, damaging paint and wallpaper in the process. It causes damage to the paintwork because the rubber section scrubs the wallpaper, because the ends are not designed to stay still whilst tightening, which also means that you CANNOT tighten them sufficiently to hold weight of anything getting close to the weight of a single coat - and if you do manage to get it A) Into position 2) Self-supporting & 3) with a coat on a hanger (as I did), you can literall watch the pole unscrew itself as it walks itself loose under the weight. An extremely poor design, that I CANNOT recommend on ANY level - a complete waste of design, manufacturing, sellers, and buyers time and money.Even Micky Mouse would object to having his name near this. All it needed was a screw-thread instead of the useless spring, and ends that stay in place whilst tightening, rather than ends which are fixed to the pole so that they rotate whilst you try to tighten them.Has the designer/manufacturer never heard of a bearing? These rods are NOT suitable for the purposes claimed, are difficult to fit, will NOT stay tight and undo themselves with weight place on the pole, and even trying as hard as you may, you will not be able to tighten to a level of confident hangings.NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!
