8 gb ddr2 for dell desktop
Low price, arrived quickly to mailbox, works fine to upgrade my desktop from 4 to 8 gb of ram. Was constantly getting message that I was running out of memory, and needed to close programs, no longer receiving those messages.

Yup It's RAM
Yup it's ram, and yup it fits and works in the dell E520. If you are using the stock E520 motherboard 8GB is the max the board can handle. To that end the RAM that I received was Kingston which works fine.

A good deal
This memory works fine in my Dell OptiPlex 745. I do believe these DIMMS are used, and system info program that I use shows the date on some of them to be 2008, some 2010. Regardless, it installed and booted up, and I've had no issues with it. A good deal.

Ram
I expected to run a full 8 gig but it only did 4 gig.. dissapointed. the other 4 gig was used in a GX-620 Optiplex . my hopes were crushed because I read your specs that it can do , but sadly it didn't.
