I’m so glad someone came up with this idea! A great way to avoid damage to your cord.

Bought as a cat deterrent. Was smaller than I expected, but was able to open it to cover the joint where she likes to chew. Hasn’t tried it out yet.😼

These are really cute and I use them as charger identifiers. It makes things a lot easier as I have three white chargers in one outlet so I can easily tell which is which by the color and I won’t have to reel in the whole cord to see which device it goes to. In regards to sturdiness and them protecting the cord, so far I believe it’s done a good job. I’ve had these on my chargers for a few months and none of them have shown any signs of fraying (not that I bend them enough to know by now). The only problem is, they do slide down the charger sometimes, though, which can get pretty annoying. But if you don’t mind, it’s not so bad. It doesn’t slide frequently, only occasionally. It fits generally snug on the medium thick part of the Apple charger.

I have had to replace my iPad charging cord more times than I like to think about only because it is poorly made and within a few months the plastic frays around the area where it is plugged into my iPad. I only buy cords made by Apple so it is not a cheap cord. I discovered this little gadget on Amazon and it has completely solved the issue with the fraying occurring after a few months as in past. I do use my iPad while it is charging but always take care to not bend the cord but in past the fraying still occurred. Problem solved with this very effective product I purchased on Amazon and I have had my current cord for one year now with no fraying at all. In past I had to replace the cord every six months.

I couldn't find the rest of the cord protectors I bought a couple of years ago, so it was time for some new ones. These are just ok. Looks like they'll do the job, but they were very tight to wrap around my computer cord. I couldn't push it up or now, so you have to put it in the exact right spot. Also, I purchased gray, but they ended up sending white, which really doesn't match. At the end of the day, they were pretty low cost and will do the job, so I'm satisfied, but they might not fit all cords.Edit: I took it off as I realized it wasn't helping my cord because there was a section that was a little bit larger that was uncovered and still bending. When I took it off, I realized it was actually causing more damage to the cord than leaving it unprotected. There are permanent marks on the cord now that will become exposed if I'm not careful. I've used this brand before on other laptops without issues, so I'm not sure why these ones are just too tight for cords now.

These are just great for any charger.......protects them well. Would recommend.
