A full-blown plastic restoration in a box.
The Three-Step SystemHow It Works:The kit is designed as a progressive restorative process. Here is the breakdown of the 8-ounce bottles included.NOVUS #3 Heavy Scratch Remover:The "heavy lifter." This is for the deep abrasions and aggressive scuffs that look permanent. It prepares the surface by leveling out the damage.NOVUS #2 Fine Scratch Remover:The refiner. This removes the "haze" left by step #3 (or handles light swirl marks on its own) to bring back the clarity.NOVUS #1 Plastic Polish: The finisher. It leaves a deep, lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static. Why This Kit Stands Out:Sustainability Meets Savings - Instead of tossing out scratched plexiglass or faded plastic shields, this kit allows you to restore them to "like-new" condition.Professional Grade Tools: The inclusion of Polish Mates Disposable Towels is a subtle but crucial touch. Using the wrong cloth (like a rough paper towel) can actually introduce more scratches. These towels are designed to work with the chemistry of the polishes.Versatility:From refreshing faded patio furniture to polishing up a guage lense *see my photo - the gauge on the left has been through the 3 step process and the gauge on the right has not been touched. It handles a massive range of acrylic surfaces with ease.Crucial Warnings & Tips:While this kit is incredibly effective, it is powerful. You must heed the manufacturer's warnings *Never use #2 or #3 on coated plastics, UV-protected surfaces, or eyeglasses. It will strip the coatings and cause permanent damage. Always perform a "spot test" in a hidden corner before diving into the middle of your project. The NOVUS Complete Plastic Care Kit is the most reliable way to breathe life back into tired plastics. It requires a bit of "elbow grease," but the results are professional-grade. If you value your plastic possessions and want to extend their lifespan, this kit is an essential addition to your maintenance shelf. Here are the steps I used:I did ALL of the steps by hand with dedicated microfiber cloths for each step.Step 1 - Clean gauge face with windex and a microfiber clothStep 2 - Using a new microfiber cloth and the Novus Course compound... Apply in a straight up and down, then left to right and then in a circular pattern. Let dry to a haze and wipe off with a different and new microfiber cloth.Step 3 - Using a new microfiber cloth and the Novus Fine compound... Apply in a straight up and down, then left to right and then in a circular pattern. Go SLOW with the fine grit , you want to make sure you get all of the course scratches out from the previous step. Let dry to a haze and wipe off with a different and new microfiber cloth. I actually did this step TWICE to ensure I got all of the previous scratches out. *DON'T use the microfiber cloths from the previous step!Step 4 - If you buy the 3 bottle kit from Amazon, you will get a soft lint free towel (2 actually). Use the "clean, shine & protect" Novus spray and spray the gauges and bezzels. Wipe until dry. This final step works as a protectant, anti fog and anti static.*caution from the manufacture is only that you DON'T use the compound on any gauges that have a UV protectant on them. My boat is 11 years old so I felt safe, lol.

Amazing results
Used on my 13 year old navigation screen in my BMW. It removed nearly all the scratches and made it look like new again. It also worked well in removing scratches on my clear plastic motorcycle wind screen. The Heavy Scratch Remover should be used lightly at first since it can introduce new scratches if you are too aggressive with it.

IT WORKS!!!
This product is awesome. I had a plastic Honda lawn tractor engine cover I was going to paint. I found out about Novus and decided to give it a shot. I started with #3 and moved right down the line. I used a buffer without a lot of pressure, and the product brought the original color back! No painting required!! The Cub Cadet is next!!

Additional step
Great product. Ran into some initial problems when they heavy scratch polish took up a film on my motorcycle windshield. I needed rubbing alcohol to remove the film and then everything went great.

Buffs but doesn't remove
Before and after attached. Is this product bad? No. It, by definition, works. Just not very well. In the photos, I applied 3 and 2, three times each. 1 is applied last, which in all fairness does leave the product shining and bring back whatever color may have been lost. However, removing heavy and light scratches is not what this does very well imo. At least not for my work.I feel like the price point for these three are decently fair. Considering I've used them on multiple devices and roughly have half of each left. Granted I do not use a buffer tool and have been doing this manually. Maybe that is part of my problem and not the product. I don't expect this nor many other products to completely remove the scratches. I do expect them to reduce the amount left behind. As you can clearly see, is still significantly high. Will I personally buy theses again? Unless I have to, no. Again just didn't work for my application. Hopes this helps someone.

Great Plastic Polish
Mixed reviews on this plastic polish product. I decided to purchase it for the 20+ year old tail light lenses on a classic car. It takes some elbow grease but the product works better than I expected. There was small scratches from removing some paint over spray from when the car was painted. The product removed the fine scratches almost completely. The lens on the left has been polished, the one on the right, not polished.

Not a fan
Haven’t gotten the heavy scratch remover to actually remove heavy scratches out of discs, I’ve wet sanded to 10k grit and the heavy solution doesn’t work for even that
