Everything looked pretty good out of the box, installed it in my 545i and so far no more leaks! Make sure you use plenty of the supplied grease for the orings and you will be OK 👌

This would be a great product if the seal that is designed to fit in the timing cover was shaped correctly. Wasted almost 5 hours fighting the coolant transfer pipe to go into the seal. Finally ordered some URO seals to replace the ones that were sent with the kit and spent less than 5 minutes and it went together smooth. Everything turned out fine and sealed great, and otherwise a great product, but if you order this spend the extra money and order the seal kit from URO.

Inner seal at timming cover was off, install took some imagination to hopefully work - wont be recommended

Would be a good kit if it were not for the seal that goes against the timing cover not fitting properly and the intake gaskets being wrong. Apparently this is a old design and has since been redesigned with the proper size seal and pipe not needing the nylon ring at the rear of the engine. Do not buy this kit, I spent 6 hours trying everything I know to get the pipe to go in the front seal, no luck.

The gasket/seal was deformed exactly the same on the original shipment and the replacement. As you can see in the photo, it looks like the ends of the gasket were fused together which causes a uneven bulge and "pitted" area that surely will not seal. From researching the OE BMW part and other quality brand names, the gasket seems to be perfectly level and uniform throughout. Not sure how this got through any kind of quality control.
